Pull your ribs away from the wall!! This is what my coach @hs.physio.peng always reminds me of.
I could never get it. So I have to get myself in a position that only my ribs can touch the wall and pull it away to strengthen this neural pathways.
It’s the details that make all the difference.
It has shifted and thrown off my whole handstand balance. But this is what I’m willing to dig in. Not for holding my handstand a few seconds more, but for the intention of building the foundation for a straight handstand in the future.
I’m getting there even if it takes years. I’m getting there.

As the most common mistake is dropping the frontal rib cage due to lack of strength in the serratus anterior. Using an elastic band is really good in lightening the load , so you can focus more on firing up the Serratus Anterior and keeping a straight back as you push away from the floor, mimicking a straight handstand.
最常見的錯誤,就是前鋸肌力量不足而導致前肋下榻。用彈力帶輔助減輕負重,在推離地板時,可以更專注在啟動前鋸肌來收下肋,讓背會比較直,就好像做一個直的手倒立一樣。
