What were the highlights of AIT@40? Let’s count them down over the next 12 days as we prepare for AIT@40’s final event: Digital Dialogue Public Forum on People-to-People ties! Each day between now and January 17, we will look back on highlights of one month of our yearlong AIT@40 campaign, which celebrated forty years of friendship and partnership between The United States and Taiwan since the signing of the Taiwan Relations Act. In JANUARY we launched AIT@40 and announced a different theme for each month of 2019 to highlight the many areas of U.S.-Taiwan cooperation. We also announced that 2019 would be a U.S.-Taiwan Travel Year, featuring a full calendar of activities promoting two-way travel.
