(See the notes as below) 沒錯沒錯～就是重量級的國際媒體 "W"ashington Post #華盛頓郵報❗️ JW部長提到 台灣因為這次 #台灣模式 抗疫有成 許多新朋友、新夥伴逐漸將目光移向台灣 👀 在嶄新的國際局勢下 台灣有了新的契機與更多國家進行合作 🤝 JW部長也告訴華郵 支持 #台灣國際參與 的盟友不斷增加 #美國 與 #歐洲盟友 和其他民主國家 ✨ 都呼籲WHO邀請台灣出席世衛大會 (詳下方小編註解) 台灣也會持續與 #美國國務院 與衛生部 還有其他友好國家密切合作 努力敲開世衛 (hen緊的) 大門‼️ #奉上動感的JW受訪超近照回饋外粉 (燦笑.gif #台灣需要WHO #WHO需要台灣 #TaiwanCanHelp #TaiwanIsHelping #台灣加油 💪 報導連結 📰 https://www.washingtonpost.com/ 小編(落落長)的註解： 1️⃣ 截至5/15，已有 #29國 #行政部門 以致函、進洽、回應質詢或媒體詢問、發表聲明及社群媒體發文等多元方式表達對台灣的支持。 2️⃣ 除了全體邦交國提案力挺，也有許多 #理念相近國家 高層公開發言表達支持，其中日本首相 #安倍晉三 及加拿大總理 #小杜魯道 更是首度公開表示支持我國以觀察員身分出席世界衛生大會 #WHA。 3️⃣ #43個 國家或區域 #立法部門 或議員以多元方式表達對我國強烈支持，其中 #超過600位政要 致函WHO幹事長譚德塞呼籲納入我國參與。 4️⃣ #加拿大90位國會議員 和 #歐洲議會100多位議員，分別致函加國政府及歐盟，力促採具體行動支持我國。 5️⃣ 南美洲國家及墨西哥跨國會平台 #福爾摩莎俱樂部 (Formosa Club) 共有 #10國超過70位國會議員 也致函WHO幹事長譚德塞，支持台灣獲邀出席WHA。 6️⃣ #川普總統 於3月簽署美國聯邦參眾兩院所通過支持我國國際參與的《2019年台灣友邦國際保護暨強化倡議法》(簡稱 #台北法，TAIPEI Act)；#美國聯邦參議院 通過要求美國國務卿就助我國參與WHO提交報告的法案。美國國務卿 #龐培歐 (Mike Pompeo) 及衛生部長 #阿札爾 (Alex Azar) 也公開重申支持，並呼籲各國協助台灣參與。 7️⃣ #美國國務院 和 美國在台協會 AIT 在推特發起「#TweetforTaiwan」、「#WHACountdown」主題標籤及系列臉書貼文，透過社群媒體串聯凝聚支持我國推案聲量；美國駐聯合國代表團及駐日內瓦代表團也分別在其官方推特力挺台灣參與WHA。 8️⃣ 美國參眾兩院 #外交委員會 領袖 #聯名致函55國；眾議院 #國會台灣連線 共同主席等，高達總席次半數的 #205位聯邦眾議員 也聯合致函WHO幹事長，促請支持我國參與WHO。 1️⃣ As of May 15, the executive branches of 29 countries have expressed their support for Taiwan's inclusion in the WHO in various forms. 2️⃣ As well as our allies, many like-minded countries have publicly expressed their support, including Japanese prime minister #AbeShinzo and Canadian prime minister Justin Trudeau, in his first public expression of support for Taiwan's inclusion in the WHA as an observer. 3️⃣ Legislators from 43 countries have expressed their support, with over 600 politicians writing letters to the director-general of the WHO, Dr. Tedros, requesting Taiwan’s inclusion. 4️⃣ 90 members of parliament in Canada and 100 members of the European Parliament have written to the Canadian government and the European Union respectively to urge specific actions to support Taiwan. 5️⃣ South American countries and Mexico ’s multinational conference platform, the #FormosaClub, consisting of 10 countries with more than 70 members of congress also wrote to WHO director-general Dr. Tedros in support of Taiwan ’s inclusion in the WHA. 6️⃣ President Donald J. Trump signed the 2019 TAIPEI Act, approved by the US Senate and House of Representatives in March to support Taiwan's international participation; the US Secretary of State #Pompeo and Secretary of Health, Alex Azar, publicly reaffirmed their support and called on countries to assist Taiwan in participating. 7️⃣ U.S. Department of State and the #American Institute in Taiwan launched the "#TweetforTaiwan" and "#WHACountdown" hashtags and a series of posts on Twitter, promoting Taiwan's participation in the WHA. 8️⃣ The bipartisan leadership of the US Senate and House of Representatives commitees on foreign affairs co-signed a letter to 55 countries; 205 members of House Representatives also jointly sent a letter to the WHO director-general, urging support for Taiwan’s participation in the WHO.
