Ice cream rolls are not new to me (as a 葵廣旺中常客🤣), but this is certainly one of the most creative and delicious I’ve ever tried. I originally thought the “Pastel De Nata flavour” (Portuguese Egg Tart) is just ordinary vanilla ice cream rolls topped with an egg tart, so I was pretty awestruck when I saw an actual Pastel de Nata (Portuguese egg tart) was crushed and mixed into the milk base in the making of this ice cream!
The flattened and solidified mixture was then scraped into frozen ribbons, aka the ice cream rolls; which was carefully placed into the cups and topped with cinnamon.
The final product is heavenly😍 the flavor of egg custard is very flavorful, which blends well with the rich milk base🥛I also really like the crispy pastry that adds texture to the smooth ice cream 🍨
ps: I also tried the salted pistachio flavour, it was equally tasty, just not as creative as this one:p
