【#她們的建築】二◯一三年，已故建築師Zaha Hadid曾於接受英國《衛報》訪問時說道：「人們普遍認為女人沒有足夠的邏輯思維。這是完全無理的。我不知道男性的自我和心態是怎樣的，但在能力上，男女根本沒有分別，至少在建築上沒有分別。女性的領導質素或自我的問題可能有所分別，但我們可以用同樣的方式設計。」
歷史上，建築是男性主導的專業，而女性彷彿需要更大的氣力，才能顯示她們的能力，與他人無異。近年，則愈來愈多建築師發聲爭取性別平等，國際上有針對女性的建築獎項，也有更多討論相關議題的研討會。
有人認為，根本沒有必要強調女性建築師，否則只會更強化女性相對柔弱和需要被照顧的刻板印象，正如沒有人刻意標榜男性建築師的性別一樣。然而，當我們談論女性建築師，並不一定把男性置於對立面，矮化他人，而單純把一直被忽視的女性貢獻重新發掘。

《世界建築節入圍名單》
世界建築節（World Architecture Festival，簡稱WAF）為國際建築界除了普立茲克建築獎之外，規模最大、聲望最高的盛事之一。
每年在不同的城市舉辦，將世界各地的建築師、設計師集聚一堂。今年第13個年，將在葡萄牙里斯本舉辦。
本屆WAF/INSIDE共收到來自78個國家的1399件報名作品，其中560件作品入圍。
