Aww, this photo warms my heart.

He's never had a pet before we met. Always wanted one, but never had the chance. He's always loved and wanted a Siamese.
When he met Jups, he fell in love with her. There's nothing not to love about Jups. She's so easy, so gentle. Take instructions so well. Never once scratched anyone nor the furnitures except her scratching post.
He said our second will be a Siamese. He's never experience a kitten before. So our second and last cat will be a Siamese baby.

And then, Pito appeared out of nowhere, severely sick and malnutrition. We nursed her back to health and convinced ourselves that we will give her up for adoption once she feels better.

Well, we all know how that went.

The two girls stole our heart. As mischievous as Pito is, we love her. Sometimes the way she looks at us, it's almost like she's grateful we saved her life. We love them both dearly.

Bottom line is, a pet is a pet. You'll develope feelings and love for them overtime, no matter what their breed is, no matter if you buy or adopt them. If you show them love, they will show you double the love. It's animal instinct.

I'm so glad when i heard Deon telling someone else the other day to adopt instead of buying a cat. He's a convert. And I'm so proud of him for that.
