To express without baby’s latch is really challenging. But I’m grateful to those who shared their tips, videos, and one particular nurse (Fazilah) in NICU who is taking care of our lil sweetheart. I wanted to have the lactation nurse to watch (me) if I’m doing it right bcs I wasn’t been able to yield excellent volume according to baby’s needs. But bcs the PIC was off, Fazilah agreed to help. She shared with me the technique and what works for her and most importantly, it’s very relaxing and not painful at all. ❤️

Initially I thought I was going to miss this chance (to harvest the colostrum) since baby was not with me and I wasn’t performing up to expectation. When I asked for guidance from the lactation nurse in my ward, all I rmber was how hard she squeeze my nipples n I was alr on the verge of crying. 😭 She told me this is the way to do and that’s the pain level I need to meet. 😵‍💫😵🤯🤬🥵😡 So I just did exactly what she said and for the first few days of “stimulation exercise”, I was in so much pain n misery. 🙇🏻‍♀️ It was hell of a torture 🧨💣🔪💥🔥and it makes me wonder why do mothers have to go through such suffering when the body were still recovering from the horrific labor pain; mentally and physically 🤒
But really, thanks God for sending us Fazilah just when we need it the most ❤️‍🔥❤️‍🩹💓

Bae visits the hospital daily. Already very popular among the guards and NICU staff 😅 He was always there to bring me things I need (and don’t need eg: sinful snacks) to make sure I have a pleasant stay. 🥰 He’ll push me on wheelchair all the way from my ward to baby’s at NICU. And we’ll both spend our quality time with our lil sweetheart 👶🏻. And you’re right, I don’t rmber the pain anymore when I see her, but if u ask if I’m ready for No.2, I can firmly tell you, I AM NOT LAH 😅😂🤣

I was ideally, expecting for natural birth VAB so I don’t risk for any complications or them touching my existing scars but 𝙄𝙏 𝘿𝙄𝘿𝙉’𝙏 𝙃𝘼𝙋𝙋𝙀𝙉.. CSEC on my midline scar with 100% epidural 💢

I was ideally, expecting for 10cm dilation, so I practiced an active lifestyle throughout pregnancy with hiking, swimming and walking but 𝙄𝙏 𝘿𝙄𝘿𝙉’𝙏 𝙃𝘼𝙋𝙋𝙀𝙉.. I have to endure 6 hours of contraction pain and labor still did not happen, hence, emergency C - SEC 🆘

I was ideally, expecting ok maybe if it end up with CSEC, it’ll be a fast and smooth surgery like cancer days and just recuperate at home for 2 weeks and I’ll be back on my feet again but 𝙄𝙏 𝘿𝙄𝘿𝙉’𝙏 𝙃𝘼𝙋𝙋𝙀𝙉.. I end up have to be readmitted due to infection and inflammation on my incision with on/off fever and was constantly in severe pain despite being prescribed pain killer 💊

I was ideally, expecting baby will be home with me right after birth but 𝙄𝙏 𝘿𝙄𝘿𝙉’𝙏 𝙃𝘼𝙋𝙋𝙀𝙉.. little did I expect, she’ll be admitted to NICU for Congenital Pneumonia and Jaundice (this is well aware bcs both of us are O+) 🩸

Yes, as I’m writing this, I’m back in the hospital (again) but feeling much better; 𝒃𝒆𝒕𝒕𝒆𝒓 not because of the 100 positive things that has happened. ⚠️ 𝘽𝙪𝙩 𝙗𝙘𝙨 𝙤𝙛 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙊𝙉𝙀 𝙥𝙤𝙨𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙝𝙖𝙥𝙥𝙚𝙣 𝙙𝙚𝙨𝙥𝙞𝙩𝙚 99 𝙣𝙚𝙜𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙚 𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙩𝙧𝙞𝙚𝙨 𝙩𝙤 𝙧𝙪𝙞𝙣 𝙞𝙩. ㊗️ This time, I’m referring to my colostrum harvesting! They’re all hand express 😜 I am not born strong but I choose to learn on how to be one. I know how tough pregnancy n motherhood journey can be but I choose to ride on it bcs that’s exactly what I wanted. 𝙄’𝙢 𝙛𝙞𝙣𝙖𝙡𝙡𝙮 𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙙𝙮 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙖 𝙛𝙖𝙢𝙞𝙡𝙮. 👨‍👩‍👦 It’s definitely tough, and sometimes one might feels like giving up but I’m thankful n grateful to have a very supportive n understanding husband and fam. It makes the journey less lonely and more encouraging ❤️

Now I understand why we need to 𝙘𝙚𝙡𝙚𝙗𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙚 𝙈𝙤𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙧’𝙨 𝘿𝙖𝙮 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝 𝙥𝙧𝙚𝙢𝙞𝙪𝙢 𝙗𝙪𝙧𝙜𝙚𝙧 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙧𝙤𝙩𝙞 𝙠𝙤𝙨𝙤𝙣𝙜 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙁𝙖𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙧’𝙨 𝘿𝙖𝙮 😂😂😂

𝙏𝙬𝙤 𝙙𝙖𝙮𝙨 𝙤𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙙𝙪𝙚 and still counting 😅

Thought I’ll just post some updates here to give u guys some sense of relieves from all the silence 🥲 So this is what it’s like if you’re planning to have your labour done here in HKL (my first time here too)…

🟠 21 𝙅𝙪𝙣𝙚 2021
10am+ 👉🏻 Got myself registered for admission
11am+ 👉🏻 Nurses performed ECG to check baby’s heart rate while waiting for bed’s availability in the ward
12pm+ 👉🏻 Was told to wait at home bcs bed might only be available after 7pm bcs currently ward is full [𝙢𝙖𝙣𝙮 “𝙥𝙖𝙣𝙙𝙚𝙢𝙞𝙘-𝙞𝙣𝙨𝙥𝙞𝙧𝙚𝙙” 𝙗𝙖𝙗𝙞𝙚𝙨 𝙢𝙖𝙙𝙚 𝙙𝙪𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙨 𝙩𝙞𝙢𝙚 😹]
5pm+ 👉🏻 Nurse called to inform there’s finally bed available and asked to “check in” immediately
6pm+ 👉🏻 Given some orientation in the ward, was told no outside food, no visitors, different classes of beds available and where to get new linen if you’ve stained your clothes/ bed
7pm+ 👉🏻 Set up branula on my hand. Changed to hospital attire (for all pregnant mom) and settle down for the day (night)

🟠 22 𝙅𝙪𝙣𝙚 2021
👉🏻 Did a tablet induce
👉🏻 Finger Test to check dilation, only 1cm opening. It’s a bloody mess and horrifying procedure for the first time me 😅
👉🏻 Doc decided to proceed with induction using 𝙁𝙤𝙡𝙚𝙮 𝘽𝙪𝙡𝙗 (to insert balloon) - another similar Finger Test procedure 🥵 This will help to ripen / soften the cervix and dilate better. Will leave it for 12 hours, in the meantime I’ll do some walking in the room
👉🏻 Had my first contraction. It started from the lower abdomen and the pain was excruciating. I tried to hold it by doing some deep breath but damn, it didn’t last me long enough. I end up telling the nurse I need some pain relief
👉🏻 I was given a jab on my butt and the pain subside, I fell into deep sleep till the next morning (𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙬𝙖𝙨 𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙗𝙖𝙗𝙡𝙮 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙗𝙚𝙨𝙩 𝙨𝙡𝙚𝙚𝙥 𝙄 𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙧 𝙝𝙖𝙙 𝙨𝙞𝙣𝙘𝙚 𝙄 𝙜𝙤𝙩 𝙥𝙧𝙚𝙜𝙣𝙖𝙣𝙩🤣)
👉🏻 Bloody discharge is normal after that

🟠 23 𝙅𝙪𝙣𝙚 2021
👉🏻 Woke up still feeling a lil bit drowsy. And it’s 4cm dilation now, but the opening didn’t improve further, it stayed the same throughout the day, so I was not allowed to proceed with labour yet
👉🏻 Decided to continue with more walking in the room
👉🏻 Doc removed the balloon 12 hours later from the first insert
👉🏻 No further contraction throughout the day, maybe there is (based on ECG reading) but it’s very mild and bearable
👉🏻 Bloody discharge still continue, constant changing of linen and “sarong” to keep my space clean and comfortable 😂

🟠 24 𝙅𝙪𝙣𝙚 2021
5am+ 👉🏻 Showered. Washed my hair. Was reluctant at first bcs there’s no hot water and the water was as cold as ice! But I can’t withstand my messy and oily hair anymore. Now feeling clean, fresh and good 🥰
6am+ 👉🏻 Doc came to check. Another finger test! 𝘽𝙮 𝙣𝙤𝙬, 𝙄’𝙢 𝙪𝙨𝙚𝙙 𝙩𝙤 𝙞𝙩 𝙖𝙡𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙙𝙮, 𝙟𝙪𝙨𝙩 𝙝𝙖𝙫𝙚 𝙩𝙤 𝙗𝙞𝙩𝙚 𝙢𝙮 𝙩𝙚𝙚𝙩𝙝 𝙬𝙝𝙚𝙣𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙧 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙮 𝙙𝙤 𝙞𝙩 🤯 No improvement. Dilation is still at 4cm. They’ll check again 6 hours later 😮‍💨

🌈 Overall experience was quite pleasant here. The two - bedded AC room, the quieter environment due to Covid, the close monitoring of medical team towards pregnant mothers (performing ECG & BP every few hours).. Couldn’t ask for more lah for a GH standard 💯

The only thing I wished I could have now is better food, at least 𝙝𝙤𝙩 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙗𝙞𝙜𝙜𝙚𝙧 𝙥𝙤𝙧𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙖 𝙜𝙤𝙤𝙙 𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙥𝙖𝙣𝙞𝙤𝙣! But I know this is not possible, that’s why I said it’s a wish! 😂 Trust me, the food portion here is too little, can only last me a good 2 hours! I’m already craving for more meat 😆

☀️ Today is another brand new day to restart. Let’s hope labour can happen soon so I can go home to my family ❤️

DAY 1
GANGNAM
-JYP (Cheongdam station (Line 7, Exit 9)
Cheongdam station (Line 7, Exit 9)
Walk down the road you are on for about 550 meters, until you get to the big crossroad.
Walk over the road onto the other side, then turn right and walk up the street for about 250 meters. You walk past two alleys turning up left, and by the third, you are going to turn and walk up that alley.
Walk up the road for 100 meters, until you reach the crossroad. On your right side, you will see JYP quite easy.

-SM
To go to SM, face JYP and then turn slightly to the right. There, the road splits in two. You have to walk up the left road. Walk straight ahead until you can turn left the second time(it's a crossroad where you can turn both left and right). Walk down that alley.
Walk just a few meters until you can turn up right. Walk up that road. Keep on walking for about 170 meters until you reach the end of the road, where there is a big park filled with trees. Turn left here.
Walk straight ahead for about 60 meters. You will soon see a big glass building that is the SM building.

700 meters of walk from EXIT 3 of Myeongdong Subway Station. Here is the direction:
Upon arriving at Myeongdong Station, from EXIT 3, go towards Hoehyeon Intersection which is about 300 meters away (slightly downhill direction). You will pass through EXIT 4 of Myeongdong Station on the way. Hoehyeon Intersection is a big junction. You won't miss it because you will see Shinsagae Department Store on your right. TURN LEFT at Hoehyeon Intersection. After turn left at this intersection, just go straight for another 300-400 meters and you will see the Namsan Oreumi Elevator, which looks like below. It is located before a toll collection station for highway. Just take the Namsan Oreumi Elevator to go straight to the Namsan Cable Car Station and take the cable car to N-Seoul Tower!

Hello everyone, I'm so happy that I got to post a video on youtube again! After not covering any songs for 2 months I had the chance to learn more guitar (I have had a guitar class before (Please click "Show more" กรุณาคลิกอ่านต่อด้านล่างนะคะ) but I didn't practice after a while so I had to take more lessons because I started to forget). In this video I'm playing the guitar with my teacher, I'm still not very good at it but I'll practice and try to get better! そして、そのあとお土産などのお買いもの。
駅前に行きました。

アーケードの商店街には、お土産屋さんがいっぱいあります。

店先には干物が目立ちますねぇ。
食べ歩きに最適なお店もいっぱいありました。
たのしい。
