特色超濃郁日式純素拉麵 (eng below)
最近突然... 很想很想很想吃拉麵 🍜!在香港要吃到純素拉麵真的有點難,做了一些資料搜集,找到了 素味謀麵 Soulmate Ramen。雖是蛋奶素店,但至少三款湯底均是純素!
第一次吃南瓜湯底的拉麵,有驚喜喔!超級濃郁!感覺吃了整個南瓜 😂 整碗喝清光 😁 店員推薦四菇濃湯,她說喜歡重口味的應該會很愛。湯底味道還可以選正常或濃郁;配菜也可以選走芫茜/蔥,非常細心!
餸菜方面我和朋友都首選了滷水猴頭菇,果然沒讓我們失望,滷得不錯呢!而且猴頭菇大大顆,份量也夠多!我們各自點了香煎翠肉瓜和茄子片,非常多汁,現在說起已經在流口水了 😆餸菜都給蠻多的,一點也不吝嗇,感覺餸菜比拉麵還多 😇 吃完超有滿足感~
Japanese Vegan Ramen
Recently... I really want to have ramen 🍜! It’s really difficult to find vegan ramen in Hong Kong. I did some research and found Soulmate Ramen. Although it is a vegetarian restaurant, at least three soup bases are all vegan!
It’s my first time to have ramen with pumpkin soup base. Super rich! I feel like eating the whole pumpkin 😂 I drank the whole bowl 😁 The staff recommended the Four Mushroom Soup, she said that those who like heavy flavors would love it. The taste of the soup base can also be normal or rich; the side dishes can also choose take out coriander/scallion, very detail-minded!
For the toppings, my friends and I both chose the Pickled Lion's Mane Mushroom. It really didn't disappoint us. The sauce was pretty good! Moreover, the Mane Mushroom is very large and the serving size is enough! We each ordered the Fried Zucchini and Aubergine. They were very juicy. I'm drooling now 😆 The serving size of the toppings are more than enough, they are not stingy at all. I feel that there are more toppings than ramen 😇 Feeling satisfied~

上禮拜草獸兩人去台南,做個小小生日旅行
除了去 台南林百貨,隨意探險散散步之外,
唯一的目標就是要去吃台南老字號,葷素者都愛的 太郎拉麵
我們是週一去的,果然店裡客滿
不過我們是第一組排隊的客人,所以店裡的大姐先出來幫我們點餐,點完後她說

👩🏻:「老闆還有交代要招待你們幾個小菜喔」
我倆:😳 「我們⋯招待?為什麼?」
👩🏻:「你們是那個⋯草獸嘛?」
我:🙊🙊🙊 「真的嗎?老闆知道我們要來喔!」

因為我印象中,太郎好像沒有自己的粉專,結果還是被老闆發現了,真不好意思(老闆謝謝你喔!)

因為男友是大食怪,所以我們去新的餐廳通常都會叫三個主菜,結果這次差點吃不完,因為老闆給太多小菜了 ❤️

1. 麻辣關東煮 🍢
以單份計算,印象中老闆給了油豆腐、花枝丸、豆皮卷,都切好了
微微的辣,非常入味,很少吃到無五辛還這麼濃厚的素食關東煮,了不起
.
2. 素柴魚豆腐
夏天必點的涼拌小菜,搭配日式辣椒絲,跟不是蔥的碧玉筍,搭配拉麵好清涼

3. 中華拉麵 (醬油)
醬油拉麵一向是我最愛的口味,麵條本身已經很搶戲了。老闆給的筍片跟配菜都不小氣,湯頭非常銷魂,完全讓我陷入上次去東京吃「九州Jangara」的回憶,只有美好兩字可以形容

4. 豆乳拉麵
另一個熱門選項。湯底很濃郁,搭配麵條又是一絕。裡面附一塊叉燒,這碗被男友五分鐘 KO,他吃得汗如雨下,但相當滿意 👌🏻

5. 地獄拉麵 (頗辣)
我剛吃就不小心被辣湯嗆到,咳到鼻涕眼淚直流,對旁邊的客人超不好意思 😅
但辣得很好吃,我傳給日本的朋友看,她非常驚艷,說整個擺盤跟桌面背景根本就是日本呀 🇯🇵

兩個人吃完,心滿意足的帶著我們懷胎三月的孩子離開了,覺得不虛此行

沒見到老闆本尊很可惜,不然很想握手 🙈
希望老闆可以繼續造福大家,我們一定還會再回去光顧的!

We visited the well-known all-vegan Taro Ramen when we took our tiny birthday trip to Tainan. It’s famous not only in the veg circle and it has a few years of history and still doing pretty well.
.
The owner knew we were going and told the staff to give us a few side dishes as treats. Here are the ones we had:
1. Spicy Oden (charged by piece) including oily tofu, squid ball, tofu skin rolls, etc. Very well-seasoned and not too spicy.
.
2. Cold tofu with vegan bonito flakes: delightful and not seen anywhere else.
.
3. Soy Sauce Ramen: the noodles they use is just impeccable. Soy sauce has always been my favorite and Taro’s was very authentic flavor comparing to the original Japanese one.
.
4. Soymilk Ramen: thick milky broth with a slice of homemade chashu. It’s also a signature at Taro.
.
5. Spicy Ramen: pretty spicy for me and is good for any spicy lover, with many king oyster mushrooms inside. My Japanese friend saw my picture and thought it was somewhere from Japan. 😆

We were very satisfied although we got too full with our three ramens plus the side dishes. But the trip and the waiting was totally worth it and it will be a shame if you’re in Tainan and not giving a visit. ❤️

Quick Miso Pickled Vegetables (Immune-Boosting Everyday Recipe)
Difficulty: Easy
Time: 30min
Number of servings: 4 servings
Ingredients:
200g (7oz.) Miso (Awasemiso)
3 tbsp. sugar
3 tbsp. milk/soy milk
((Vegetables I used))
cucumber (partially peeled)
Daikon radish
carrot
sugar snap peas (2min parboiled)
avocado slices
grape tomatoes
boiled eggs
((Other Ingredients Recommended))
celery
radish
asparagus
renkon (lotus root)
Tofu (drained)
cooked meat
cooked fish
etc...
Directions:
1. In a bowl, mix Miso, sugar, and milk/soy milk very well.
2. Place half of the Miso mixture in a flat container with a lid or without a lid is okay. Place the prepared vegetables.
3. Place another half of the Miso mixture then cover with a lid or plastic wrap is okay. Leave for 30 minutes.
Scrape off Miso then serve in a dish. You don't want to leave more than 30 minutes or too much water comes out from the ingredients. Use the leftover Miso for other Miso dishes.
