When reading 【Mrs Dalloway】, Clarissa said the happiest moment of her life was picking flowers with her dear one in a summer day. It was very romantic and vivacious. I wish to paint Thranduil happiest moment with his love too. And the coming book will be about his emotions and the change of seasons. How our feelings interact with the environment. ❤️🌸☘
🖌As to challenge my creativity, I did a little experiment ——— drawing the same picture by watercolour and by digital media. I think both approach are unique and fun. With the watercolour, I played with colour, let them got loose and tried a touch of scrapbooking, putting some lace and fallen flowers I collected on street. The mix of texture helps elevate deaths.
The digital media, on the other hand, allowed me to try brush strokes of oil painting and imitate acrylic pouring , which such media I can not reach in real life.
