The analogy is this
If someone says to u: u r a woman
Would u feel bad?
No
Bcoz u r 100% certain u r a man
When ppl attack u, wt they say be 4 things:
1. Opinion, true
2. Opinion, false
3. Fact, true
4. Fact, false
If its 1 and 3, wt u need to deal with is yourself. Theres sth thats weak or wrong about u and as someone who wants to perfect urself, u accept fair criticism.
If its 2 and 4, u need to think about why u care about falsehoods - the most likely reason is that you yourself are not certain about whether it is false. Becoz if u r, then just like my analogy above, you should not feel much.
Once u r certain u r right, u only pity ppl who are stupid and dumb for being wrong. Thats their problem.
Conclusion: more likely than not the issue is about u being certain about urself or not.
