Hello from Singapore!
疫情下的旅行很不一樣，大家都戰戰競競的應對！
前天抵達新加坡之後就被嚴格的控管每個行程，不只每天都需要篩檢，我們的所有行動都需要事先安排預約。
為了不讓球員及陪同人員群聚，除了前往球場之外，就連踏出房門用餐都要事先預約，而每一個團隊會有自己的「用餐房」
所有大會人員也全副武裝的在執行公務，除了及口罩及面罩之外，也有身穿防護衣。
這些都是很特別的經驗，而這幾天感受著這一切的我也體會到擁有自由是多麼的難得可貴！
It’s been an interesting trip so far. Definitely hasn’t been easy as Singapore has been strict with their covid protocols.
We have been confined to the tennis courts and hotel. Everything that we want to do needs to be booked. Every time we want to step out of our room we need to have an email confirmation of where we are going. Whether it’s to transport to go to the courts, our daily covid Swab test, hotel gym, massage room, or eating meals on the 22nd floor in specific rooms (yes, there is no eating with other people who are not part of your team).
There are security guards with full protection including the face shield watching our every move. You really do feel like your freedom has been taken away. It’s been eye-opening for me because we forget how valuable freedom is.
Other than that, Singapore has done a great job of keeping order and being organized. The tennis venue is really nice and seems like it will be a great week for tennis. Just need to put our heads down and get to work!
