在桌子面前坐著想了很久。想著畫點什麼可以分享在專頁上，和新年有關的圖，可能是很喜氣的、很幽默的或是跟小狗有關，畫完了，卻被我扔到一旁，最終還是想畫什麼真實地和心境貼近的圖。於是我也不構圖了，想到什麼就畫什麼，想到今天出去散步看到一排房子和背後的天際線，想到今年其實很辛苦，還有很多沒有克服卻等在眼前要做的一堆山。終究，我沒有要說一個美麗完美的故事，但是要說一個真實的。表面風光的背後已經清理掉許多灰塵，這一年我和大家一樣，很努力笨拙得但也過得夠好，辛苦了，明年要繼續前進，2018我也會繼續說故事下去。
I was siting in front of my working table and thinking I shall draw a new-year related illustration to share here... It could be something festive, humorous image or some cute poppies. I finished it and threw it right away. One scene came into my mind: a row of old house standing neatly with a background blue sky. This is a scenery I saw when I went for a walk this afternoon. And later on, I thought of this whole year was actually not easy and it's yet to finish challenging myself as there is still a stack of unsolved problems and works waiting for me. However, just to tell myself (or as well as yourself) that I've done well and and keep it up to tell stories either good or bad as long as don't ever regret it's a good one. See you all in 2018 :)
