把台灣的年輕人送進奇點大學，讓奇點的學生把好點子、熱情、希望帶回台灣！

奇點大學是道窄門，但台灣不該缺席！

一個多月以前，我在台北聽取台灣第一個奇點大學學生葛如鈞博士的簡報，而這次的矽谷之行，在舊金山科技組組長葉至誠的安排之下，我們到了位於加州矽谷山景城NASA基地內的奇點大學參訪，並認識了另外一位在奇點大學唸過書的台灣學生黃君豪博士。

這個以推廣指數型科技，以影響10億人為宗旨的新型態大學，是由Google與NASA共同支持，而參與創校的幾位教授更是全美科技界的名人。位於矽谷山景城的入口處，有警衛崗哨，確認身份之後才會放行。負責簡報Singularity University的是一位越南裔的經理。他說，奇點大學以「Impact 1 billion people in the next decade using exponential technologies」為宗旨，而全球化更是他們下一步重要的訴求。

我知道參與奇點大學的都是各國的頂尖學生，他們研究的是指數型速度推進中的生物科技、Infinite computing、感測技術、3D列印、人工智慧等領域，也只有這些全球最頂尖的年輕人，敢於挑戰最高難度的科技殿堂。

黃君豪、葛如鈞臉上都流露著聰明、熱情、進取的特質，我跟何美玥說，台灣年輕人都像這樣的話，我們就可以早早退休了！奇點大學每年召募80名學生，據說他們會保留一個名額給台灣的留學生，但2017年入選的台灣學生，因為在募資3萬美元的入學費用不太順利而無法入學，這實在令人扼腕。

台灣沒那麼窮，無論如何，我們得讓勇於挑戰矽谷的台灣年輕人有一個機會！
