RentSpree PropTech Startup ฝีมือคนไทย คว้าเงินลงทุนรอบซีรีส์ A 250 ล้านบาท ดันมูลค่าธุรกิจสูงถึง 1,600 ล้านบาท

- RentSpree ตั้งเป้าขยายทีมพัฒนาในไทยเป็น 300 คนภายในสิ้นปี 2022
RentSpree (เรนท์สพรีส์) แพลตฟอร์มช่วยเหลือการเช่าบ้านแบบครบวงจร ได้รับเงินทุน Series A มูลค่ากว่า 8 ล้านดอลลาร์สหรัฐหรือประมาณ 250 ล้านบาท โดยมี 645 Ventures กลุ่มนักลงทุนที่ร่วมลงทุนกับ RentSpree ตั้งแต่ Seed Round เป็น Lead Investor พร้อมด้วย Green Visor Capital และ Vesta Ventures
RentSpree ได้เริ่มธุรกิจเมื่อปี 2016 และมีอัตราการเติบโตมากกว่า 2 เท่า ในทุกๆ ปี ปัจจุบัน RentSpree ถือเป็นสตาร์ทอัพด้านอสังหาฯ ที่มาแรงมากในสหรัฐอเมริกา เพราะได้เข้ามาแก้ปัญหาและเปลี่ยนแปลงระบบการเช่าบ้านให้รวดเร็วและปลอดภัยมากขึ้น ตั้งแต่เปิดตัวมาจนถึงปัจจุบัน RentSpree มีผู้ใช้บริการกว่า 600,000 ราย และได้ช่วยเหลือเจ้าของบ้านและเอเย่นต์ไปมากกว่า 100,000 คน ในการทำธุรกรรมการเช่าบ้านกว่า 500,000 รายการ
คุณเอกบุตร สิริศุภางค์ COO และหนึ่งในผู้ก่อตั้งบริษัท เรนท์สพรีส์ จำกัด เผยว่าตลอด 5 ปีที่ผ่านมา RentSpree ได้พิสูจน์ว่าทีมพัฒนาคนไทยมีศักยภาพในการแข่งขันในตลาดระดับโลกอย่างสหัรฐอเมริกา เรามีทีมงานเริ่มต้นเพียง 7 คนและเป็นคนไทยทั้งสิ้น 6 คน คู่แข่งของ RentSpree มีมากมายนับไม่ถ้วนทั้งจากบริษัทยักษ์ใหญ่อย่าง Zillow และสตาร์ทอัพใน Silicon Valley ที่เกิดขึ้นใหม่ทุกวัน แต่ RentSpree ยังสามารถเติบโตอย่างก้าวกระโดดพร้อมทั้งนำเทคโนโลยีใหม่ๆ มาพัฒนาระบบให้ดีขึ้นอย่างต่อเนื่อง นอกจากนี้คุณเอกบุตร ยังได้กล่าวต่อว่า "การระดมทุน Series A ครั้งนี้ ถือเป็นก้าวที่สำคัญสำหรับ RentSpree ที่จะพาให้สตาร์ทอัพคนไทยกลายเป็นยูนิคอร์นเพิ่มขึ้นอีกหนึ่งบริษัท และเป็นการตอกย้ำวิสัยทัศน์ของเราว่าเราได้สร้างสิ่งที่มีประสิทธิภาพและสามารถแก้ไขปัญหาในธุรกิจอสังหาฯ ได้จริง"
โดย RentSpree ระบุว่าแผนหลังจากนี้ คือ การต่อยอดธุรกิจเพื่อเป็นแพลต์ฟอร์มจัดการระบบเช่าบ้านแบบครบวงจรมากยิ่งขึ้น โดยจะใช้เงินลงทุนในครั้งนี้เพื่อขยายทีมพัฒนาคนไทยจาก 55 คนเป็น 300 คนภายในสิ้นปี 2022 และขยายเซอร์วิสเพิ่มในส่วนของระบบจัดการเอกสาร ระบบจัดการบ้านเช่า และเครื่องมือสร้างความสัมพันธ์ระยะยาวระหว่างผู้เช่าและเอเย่นต์ได้ต่อไป
นอกเหนือจากด้านเทคโนโลยีและการขยายธุรกิจแล้ว RentSpree ยังเฟ้นหาเพื่อนร่วมงานและผู้บริหารที่มีความสามารถทั้งในไทยและอเมริกา มาช่วยกันสร้างทีมและพัฒนาวัฒนธรรมองค์กรให้เป็นบริษัทสตาร์ทอัพขนาดใหญ่ที่มีความทันสมัย เต็มไปด้วยคนรุ่นใหม่ ที่พร้อมพัฒนาขีดความสามารถไปพร้อมกับเรา รวมทั้งสร้างสรรค์โซลูชั่นและเซอร์วิสที่ตอบโจทย์ผู้ใช้บริการได้อย่างมีประสิทธิภาพและตรงตามความต้องการมากขึ้น
