Resepi Ikan Celup Tepung Rangup Sedap
Masukkan sukatan bahan di bawah dalam satu bekas:
7 sudu besar tepung beras
1/3 sudu kecil garam
1/3 sudu kecil serbuk kunyit
2 sudu besar telur. Seeloknya kuning telur sahaja
1/2 cawan kecil air sejuk
2. Kacau rata semua bahan tadi. Adunan tepung tidaklah terlalu pekat dan perlu sedikit cair.

3. Tips penting menghasilkan bahan goreng yang cantik:
Guna minyak yang banyak
Pastikan minyak betul-betul panas (berdesir semasa ikan/udang/sotong dimasukkan)
Api awalnya perlu kuat dan biar sederhana selepasnya

4. Ini teknik yang cikgu ubah. Sebelum ini cikgu celup guna tangan lalu merenjis sekali adunan tepung. Teknik barunya, cikgu pakai penyepit sambil merenjis adunan tepung ke dalam kuali.
5. Hasilnya memang sangat menarik. ‘Habuk’ nampak lebih nipis yang cantik. Rasanya juga lagi rangup.
6. Balik-balikkan selepas sebelah bahagian mengeras. Jika ‘habuk’ sudah kuning, boleh angkat dan toskan dulu. Jangan biar masak sekali dengan lauk kerana biasanya adunan tepung lebih cepat garing.
7. Untuk hasilkan ‘habuk’ yang banyak, baki adunan tepung direnjis-renjis menggunakan penyepit juga. Balik-balikkan dan sedia untuk ditaburkan ke atas lauk celup tepung yang digoreng.

Delicious Crispy Flour Dipped Fish Recipe
Insert the measure of ingredients below in one container:
7 tablespoons of rice flour
1/3 small spoons of salt
1/3 small spoons of turmeric powder
2 tablespoons of eggs. The egg yolk is better
1/2 small cups of cold water
2. All the ingredients were messed up earlier. The flour mix is not too thick and it needs to melt a little.

3. Important tips to produce beautiful fried ingredients:
Use a lot of oil
Make sure the oil is really hot (rushing when the fish / shrimp / squid comes in)
The fire must be strong at first and let it be moderate afterwards

4. This is the technique that the teacher changed. Previously the teacher dipped in using his hand and then she sprinkled the flour mix. The new technique, the teacher uses tweezers while spreading the flour mix into the wok.
5. The results are really interesting. 'Dust' looks thinner and beautiful. It feels crunchy too.
6. Reverse after the hardened side. If the 'dust' is yellow, you can lift and throw it first. Don't let it be cooked together with dishes because usually the flour mix is crispy faster.
7. To produce a lot of 'dust', the rest of the flour mix is slipped using tweezers too. Reverse and ready to be sprinkled on fried flour dipped in dishes.

What is a better way to gather and socialize than having hotpot during this auspicious Chinese New Year? For one great hotpot experience, make your way to Guo Hao Liao 锅好料 at Leith Street. The new hotpot specialist in town offers healthy, home-cooked Cantonese-styled hotpot soup bases (a mix of local flavors and unique combinations) with plenty of premium, fresh hotpot ingredients. The setting is stylishly modern… dressed in shades of white with casual, comfortable seating. The place is fully air-conditioned and offers a great atmosphere for a gathering over hotpot. There are 3 individual VIP rooms- 1 with in-house karaoke system (min spending of RM800) and 2 rooms without (min spending of RM500).
Apart from hotpot, the restaurant also rolls out its lunch menu, which consists of Pork Soup Yam Rice, Poached Spring Chicken, Black Vinegar Pork Trotter, Stir Fried Clams with Ginger and Scallions, Stir Fried Water Spinach and Stir Fried Romaine. There is a selection of side dishes as well. The Lunch menu is only available from 11 am to 2 pm daily (note: hotpot menu is also available during lunch).
It is noteworthy that Guo Hao Liao is opening throughout Chinese New Year (no rest days). It is also having a promotion for its diners- spend a minimum of RM300 (or more), diner shall entitle for a VIP card in which there will be 10% for future dining, a complimentary bottle of wine (next visit) and birth-month voucher (25% discount and a complimentary birthday cake).

材料
(2人分)
・豆苗 1パック
・豚もも薄切り肉 200g
・塩 ひとつまみ
・ごま油 大さじ1
・万能ねぎ 適量
タレ
・醤油 大さじ1
・酒 小さじ1
・酢 小さじ1
・砂糖 大さじ1
・マヨネーズ 大さじ1
・味噌 小さじ1
・ごま油 小さじ1/2
・白ごま 大さじ1
手順
1. 醤油、酒、酢、砂糖、マヨネーズ、味噌、ごま油を合わせてよく混ぜ、白ごまを加えてさらに混ぜる
2. 豆苗は根元を切り落とし、食べやすい大きさに切る
3. ボウルに豆苗を入れ、塩、ごま油を加えて和える
4. 鍋に湯を沸かし、豚肉を茹でる
5. 皿に盛った3の上にゆであがった豚肉をのせ、1をかける
6. 万能ねぎを散らして完成
※ お肉に火が通っていることを確認し、お召し上がりください

When people think of Vietnamese food in Hanoi, they might instantly think of snake or pho noodles. None of those dishes are covered today, but I've eaten them in the past. Today I eat delicious bun cha noodles, bun thang noodles, and finish off with some friend prawn cakes at Ho Tay aka West Lake. Hanoi foods sometimes gets a bad reputation. I still prefer the food in the central and southern regions, but Hanoi does have decent food as seen here.
First, bun cha is a simple rice noodle based with grilled pork sausages and grilled fatty pork. You can also eat it with some egg rolls too. And of course the key is sweet fish sauce!
The restaurant I ate in was BUN CHA DAC KIM
located at 1 Hang Manh. They open all day and into the late evenings. A tad bit of on the expensive side though, but worth it.
Second, bun thang is the forgotten noodle dish. It's a chicken broth centered rice noodle based with chicken, pork sausages, and eggs. This place also put in some mushrooms and a second kind of pork ball sausage too called moc. There's also a healthy portion of shrimp paste in there too. Yum.
This restaurant is located at 30 Cau Go - just down the street
from the famous Ba Duc place, which only opens in the evenings.
Lastly, I tried the famous Banh Tom Ho Tay. This was just simply fried prawn in a flour batch. It really had no taste so you have to dip it into the fish sauce, which gives it an awesome bold flavor.
This place is located on 1 Thanh Nien next to Ho Tay. Any taxi driver will know it. It's that famous. Try not to sit next to the sewer or bathroom and you'll enjoy it more. And avoid weekend evenings because they can be really packed and busy.
