Dalam episod kali ini, Rhys William berada di Sekinchan Selangor untuk merasai sebuah menu yang sangat asing iaitu Belangkas.
Belangkas ialah sejenis haiwan yang hidup di laut masin dan sedikit di paya air tawar. Belangkas mudah ditangkap di tepi-tepi pantai kerana tidak menggigit.
Haiwan ini merupakan artropod laut yang bentuk badannya mirip kepada 'ketopong besi' tentera dan juga mempunyai ekor yang panjang dan tajam. Ia boleh mencapai saiz sehingga 51 cm (20 inci). Mana-mana anggotanya yang putus boleh tumbuh semula dan ia juga mempunyai sistem keimunan yang menakjubkan.
Peribahasa dalam masyarakat Melayu iaitu 'macam belangkas' bermaksud lelaki dan perempuan yang bergerak bersama-sama ke mana-mana sahaja. Kita akan temui belangkas di laut cetek dalam keadaan berdua-dua iaitu seekor jantan dan seekor betina.
Terdapat juga kepercayaan masyarakat Melayu yang menyatakan bahawa hantu takut pada belangkas kerana terdapat ekor yang tajam padanya (Wikipedia)
Namun, ada satu kedai iaitu Faridah Mentarang Bakar menawarkan menu ini dalam bentuk gulai, masak cili, dan bakar
