Chinese New Year is around the corner! Have you guys prepared your candy box at home? Traditionally, the box contains snacks that are high in sugar, like sugar-coated lotus, winter melon etc. I have recommended some healthier options with meanings behind!

笑口常開 (Smiles all year around)
Pistachio + mejool date with walnuts. These are all natural and rich in fibre. Choose nuts that have no added sugar and salt to enjoy its original flavour. Mejool dates are naturally sweet; I personally love the date and nut combo, try it out!

有米過新年 (Have a prosperous new year!)
These rice crackers 🍘 are non-fried, savoury and coated with seaweed. They are very tasty. Check the food label before purchasing to make sure they are puffed, not deep fried

金玉滿堂 House full of gold + jade (wealth)
Gold is represented by dried mango whereas Jade is represented by banana chips. Again, purchase those without any added sugar or salt

甜甜蜜蜜 (Life sweet as honey)
For those with a sweet tooth you can opt for konyaku jelly and dark chocolate. Have you tried those konyaku jelly with chia seeds? Chia seeds are rich in fibre, which increases satiety

金銀滿屋 (House full of gold & silver - Abundance)
I chose pumpkin and sunflower seeds to represent gold and silver. Again, choose toasted seeds without oil or salt added.

啱啱先過完聖誕節，肚腩仔都未細返又到農曆新年～咁不如大家一齊揀啲健康嘅小食放喺2020年嘅全盒啦！雖然以下建議嘅都係較健康嘅小食，但係積少成多，所以一件起，兩件止！全盒裏面一般嘅食物都有寓意嘅，呢D健康建議都唔例外！

笑口常開：無添加開心果 + 蜜棗夾核桃
堅果含高不飽和脂肪酸，核桃更含Omega-3！堅果記得揀無添加，冇放入額外糖或者鹽份。蜜棗夾合桃呢個配搭我都幾鍾意食，蜜棗本身嘅甜味足以滿足我想食甜野嘅渴求

有米過新年：紫菜醬油米餅
呢啲係日本嘅非油炸米粉，既好食，又較低熱量，仲有紫菜調味。 記得睇清楚營養標籤確保米餅並非油炸

金銀滿屋
想加點微甜的小食，乾果類亦是一個不錯的選擇。可以揀選天然無添加的乾果，如芒果乾，香蕉脆片等。要留意包裝上的營養標籤，選擇無添加糖份或防腐劑的乾果和乾果脆片！

甜甜蜜蜜
蒟蒻，主要成份是水和膳食纖維，低卡，不含脂肪。市面上仲有啲係加咗奇亞籽入去嘅，飽肚感會更高呢！

金銀滿屋：葵花籽、南瓜籽
含豐富不飽和脂肪酸和抗氧化效果的維生素E，而且天然不經加工炒製，代替傳統瓜子的好選擇。

Preparation:

1. Cut the Vietnamese rice paper into the size you want.

2. Moist the Vietnamese rice paper with water.

3. Align the toasted seaweed on the Vietnamese rice paper.

4. Allow to air dry.

5. Deep fry until crisp.

Enjoy!

[韓國小食]【韓式紫菜脆片】 Seaweed Rice Crisps

材料：-
越南米紙.............適量
即食紫菜.............適量

做法：-
1. 將越南米紙用剪刀裁成合適大小備用。
2. 用水把越南米紙沾濕，然後粘上即食紫菜，風乾後放進油鍋炸脆便可。（可隨個人喜好加入喜歡的調味粉，如芥末粉、蒜粉、松露粉等。)

千里馬, 位置好方便，就在名古屋車站旁邊, 相當出名 Senrima very famous n convenience just next to Nagoya Station.

如果大家遲些去名古屋的話 If u come to Nagoya later,

這間妝藥店一定不可以錯過, 因為它的產品好多元化 This is a Must Go u shouldn't miss. Products are diversify.

它總共有五層, 退稅就在5樓, U can claim tax refund at 5th floor.

這裏好多產品，驚安之殿堂都有得買 Many products here u can also buy in Donki

第三必買, 醬油鵪鶉蛋, 用了日本高湯昆布和魚一起淆製 3rd best buy is soy sauce quail eggs, made with Japanese broth from kombu n fish

加上味醂和醬油, 加在家中煮的拉麵, 非常有日本風味 Add mirin n soy sauce into ramen cooked at home, it has a very Japanese flavor

不用搭飛機, 都可以幻想自己坐在日本的拉麵店, Without flying to Japan n fantasy u are already there.

而且非常低的卡路里, 一次過食四五粒都不覺高膽固醇 It's very low in calories. U doon't feel high cholesterol even after eating 4-5pieces at a time.

另外亦都有一個絕配就是鹽燒扇貝, 一起食拍住上, 超爽! There is a perfect match for salted scallops, eat together with quail eggs is super cool!

鹽燒扇貝的另一種食法, 就是可以做茶漬飯,一樣咁好味。 Another way of eating is yummy Chazuke!

第四必買,這間 Spaghetti House YOKOI 住吉店 4th best buy is "Ankake" a thick sauce with a taste of meat sauce like from Spaghetti House Yokoi

它的餐廳在名古屋是非常出名的, Its restaurant is very famous in Nagoya,

所以它的醬汁是出名到會在超市或食品公司買到 So its sauce is famous to be bought in supermarkets or groceries

如果你買回家自己煮, 配菜可以配合香腸、 雞蛋、炸蝦等 If u cook at home, the side dishes can be combined with sausage, eggs n fried shrimp, etc.

亦可以落洋蔥、青椒和蘑菇, Onions, green peppers n mushrooms are also good to eat with it.

這個醬汁, 在名古屋被形容為靈魂料理, 名副其實是名古屋特產! This Ankake is described as a soul dish in Nagoya. It is indeed a Nagoya specialty!

它的去污力好強, 輕而易舉抹幾下就立刻乾淨曬 Its detergency is so strong that it can be cleaned immediately with just a few wipes

這些污漬是我刮花了好耐的, 用過其他清潔劑都抹不掉 I've been scratching these stains for a long time n I can't wipe them off with other cleaning agents.

讓我倒少少在乾布上面, 分量好似一元面積般 Let me pour it on the dry cloth, the usage is like a dollar size

味道有點似清新的草木香,不用開水, Fragrance of the refreshing citrus without mixing with water.

抹了兩下之後, 地下是否白了好多呢 After wiping it twice, is the floor much brighter?

抹完之後地板亦都不會黐立立，好快乾爽。 In the finish which dried quickly, and was silky.
