5 years ago i was involved in a life changing production called Let’s Cycle on local Malaysian television. It ran 3 seasons
On the 2nd season, one of the task was to cycle from KL to Penang. We had a lot of fun :) . But what stuck in my memory was the first time ever i toured while fasting. It was the first day of Ramadan and we had to do a ride from Ipoh to Sauk. It was less than 80km.
Many were worried of my decision to fast. they weren’t sure if that was a safe idea for me to ride and fast But i stood with the decision that besides it being an obligation of mine its also a voluntary decision of mine as a Muslim.
We started late afternoon and it was extremely hot and the terrain was unforgiving. My 16’ wheels was just climbing half of that journey. It got so hot i stopped at a Petronas and went under the hose to cool down After 3 hours into the ride i stopped feeling hungry, thirsty, pain i went on auto mode. my survival instinct took over knowing that i needed to reach sauk before sundown as the inner roads gets dark and dangerous. 15km from our stop for the night. I got a packet of ice cold Asam Boi drink “ikat tepi” . As the Azan filled the dusk air. I stoped and enjoy my drink by the side of the road. The cold beverage glided smoothly into my throat. That moment changed in an instant as it violently came out my throat and nostrils. Maybe my body was in shock but i picked myself up and continued my journey to not just Sauk, but to complete the whole touring while i fast thru Ramadan.
It was a challenge, both mentally and physically for me that i indulge myself with. Like other challenges i take in life, its not to prove to anyone but to my own personal self. To tell myself that theres nothing that i cant conquer and achieve. Be whatever circumstance and choices life throws at me.

📍Semua pejabat di seluruh Malaysia diarah tutup sepanjang Perintah Kawalan Pergerakan (PKP) dan kerja - kerja dilaksanakan sepenuhnya dari rumah.
📍Semua sekolah ditutup dan pendidikan dilaksanakan di atas talian. Kerja sekolah untuk murid dihantar dlm group what'sapp.
📍Penjarakkan sosial sentiasa diutamakan. Bersalam tangan ditukar dgn meletak tgn di dada.
📍Pita pelekat dilekatkan di atas lantai - lantai kedai untuk menentukan jarak selamat 1 meter di antara pelanggan. Beratur hingga berpuluh meter ke luar kedai.
📍 Restoran dan kedai-kedai makan ditutup, hanya dibenarkan bungkus dan dibawa pulang sahaja. Food rider ibarat cendawan tumbuh lepas hujan. Ada yg kantoi jual rokok seludup dan ketum.
📍Hanya beberapa orang sahaja dibenarkan berada di dalam kedai.
📍Kedai bukan keperluan asas dan perniagaan tidak berkaitan pembekalan makanan diarah tutup.
📍Keseluruhan acara dan musim sukan di seluruh dunia dibatalkan serta merta. Aktiviti riadah dan bersenam dalam rumah.
📍 Konsert, perlancongan, festival, acara hiburan dibatalkan. Kawasan tumpuan di bukit bintang sunyi sepi yg sblm ini sesak dan padat 24 jam. Ibarat tiada waktu tidur.
📍Majlis perkahwinan dan pelbagai sambutan majlis bersama keluarga dibatalkan. Tp diganti dgn nikah online.
📍Tiada lagi jemaah di masjid dan rumah-rumah ibadat ditutup.
📍Tidak dibenarkan perkumpulan 50 orang atau lebih, kemudian diubah kepada 20 org atau lebih, hanya dibenarkan 10 orang atau kurang dari itu juga tidak dibenarkan.
📍Taman permainan kanak-kanak ditutup.
📍Kekurangan stok penutup muka, gaun,
dan sarung tangan untuk kegunaan pekerja barisan hadapan.

bagi pesakit kritikal.

Haritu nak pergi sana, sangkut jam sampai 2 jam, aku rasa macam potato duduk dalam kereta lelama. First time rasa macam hidup berlalu pergi, I cant get that time back.
Campur pulak kematu punggung sebab duduk lama sangat. Serius. Lepas tu bila sampai sana, nak bungkus, lupa bawak bekas sendiri *&$#%#% … Double whammy!
So, why not harini kita buat meatballs ala ikea, so tak payah drive pergi sana dah, buat sendiri je
Bahan-bahan:
🌕 bebola daging, try cari brand marina kalau ada (meatballs)
🌕 1 biji bawang besar/Holland dipotong (1 blended onion)
🌕 2 sudu mentega masin (salted butter)
🌕 2 sudu tepung gandum (2 spoons of flour)
🌕 1 cawan air (2 cups of water)
🌕 2-3 pati daging lembu (2-3 beef stock)
🌕 ¼ cawan krim masam / yogurt (¼ cup cooking cream / yogurt)
🌕 Daun parsley (Parsley)
🌕 3 sudu sos tiram (3 sudu sos tiram)
Cara-cara:
🌕 Panaskan minyak dalam rice cooker
🌕 Masak dulu meatballs (ada je yang ready made kat Giant/tesco), beli yang tu je
🌕 Bila dah masak, keluarkan meatballs
🌕 Masukkan bawang besar yang diblended tadi bersama 2 sudu salted butter
🌕 Bila dah cair dan panas, masukkan tepung gandum, sambil-sambil tu kacau, jangan bagi melekat
🌕 Masukkan 2-3 kiub pati daging lembu, 1 cawan air dan ½ kotak cooking cream, tunggu sekejap
🌕 Bila dah berbuih panas, masukkan 3 sudu oyster sauce sampai jadi brown
🌕 Last sekali masukkan parsley
Ni resipi hacking, cari menu faveret kat kedai, lepas tu buat balik, wahahahha

Today I'm craving Ikea Meatballs, but I swear I'm lazy to drive there
That day I'm going there, stuck in 2 hours, I feel like a potato sitting in a long car. First time feeling like life passes by, I cant get that time back.
Mixed with the back because it's sitting for too long. Seriously. After that when you get there, you want to wrap it, forget to bring your own container *&$#%#%... Double whammy!
So, why not today we make meatballs ala Ikea, so no need to drive there anymore, just do it yourself
Ingredients:
🌕 meatballs, try to find marina brand if you have meatballs)
🌕 1 large onion / Holland cut (1 blended onion)
🌕 2 spoonful of salted butter (salted butter)
🌕 2 spoonful of wheat flour (2 spoons of flour)
🌕 1 cups of water (2 cups of water)
🌕 2-3 beef pati (2-3 beef stock)
🌕 ¼ cup of sour cream / yogurt (¼ cup cooking cream / yogurt)
🌕 Parsley leaves (Parsley)
🌕 3 spoonful of oyster sauce (3 spoonful of oyster sauce)
Ways:
🌕 Heat the oil in the rice cooker
🌕 Cook meatballs first (there are only those who are ready made at Giant / Tesco), just buy them
🌕 When you cook, release meatballs
🌕 Insert the onion that was blended just now with 2 tablespoons salted butter
🌕 When it's melted and hot, insert the wheat flour, while it's disturbed, don't stick it
🌕 Insert 2-3 cubes of beef, 1 cups of water and ½ box of cooking cream, wait a minute
🌕 When it's hot bubbles, put in 3 spoonful of oyster sauce until it becomes brown
🌕 Lastly insert parsley
This is a hacking recipe, looking for a favorite menu at the shop, then make it back, wahahaha

Well, I thought it will be easy because I do intermittent fasting where I do not consume anything with calories for 16 hours. But what's different about Ramadan fasting is that I cannot even drink any kind of fluid as well.

It’s been a week since I’m fasting. Feeling good and better and my body start to adapt to it. Besides feeling my body is lighter, I also get to learn how to manage my mental health during this period. We’ve been locked down for more than a month at home and still trying to find something new to learn. Me myself get to learn how to edit video and share it here with you all. I hope the editing is not too bad ? Feel free to give comments and I’ll learn to improve my shooting and editing skills.
Sorry for membebel panjang ? for the past one week I’ve been doing this kind of quick workout for 10-15 minutes before break fast. I do practice fasting like how Muslims do (fasting foods and water for 13 hours), so that I can really understand how my Muslims client feel when they workout during Ramadan.
This practice is also benefits to those who want to lose fats and lose weight at the same time. Of course diet plays the biggest role in our lifestyle. Either you want to lose weight or gain muscle, DIET is the main key for you to achieve your goal! Leave your comment below if you want to know more about this. Maybe I can share on my next video ?
