Due to the current situation and prevention of the ongoing pandemic, Monster Hunter will have a online concert for the first time, and Hunters all over the world will be able to enjoy it.
One of the attractions of 'Monster Hunter Orchestra Concert' is the collaboration between the powerful movies of Monsters and full orchestra performances.
In addition to playing famous and popular music from "Monster Hunter" series, many tracks from the latest entry "Monster Hunter World: Iceborne" will also be performed.

Keep in mind:

1. Gawai is steeped in adat and sacred rituals

2. Gawai is not celebrated by all indigenous groups in Sarawak. Though every one enjoys the celebrations, it hosted primarily (but not exclusively) by the Bidayuh and Iban. Bidayuh and Iban are two different groups, though both under the “Dayak” umbrella. There are numerous different types of Bidayuh groups.

3. Key elements of Gawai are dancing, music, rice, tuak (rice wine) and pig & chicken slaughter

4. When using music by local musicians, DO NOT take their music from YouTube and use it for your ad without asking the musician (like one corporate did last year 🙄). Do not assume the use is for free (do you realise how long and difficult it is to learn these instruments??)

5. When using music for your Gawai ads, bear in mind that our traditional music have meaning and contexts. Not all instrumental music merely “sound nice”, they have a purpose.

6. Sape’ is from the Orang Ulu Community. Bidayuh and Iban and other communities that celebrate Gawai have other beautiful and powerful tunes and instruments they play during the celebrations. Do your research.

7. Gawai and Kaamatan are similar, not the same. If you’re going to have a “GawaiKaamatan” ad, you might as well have a “1 Jan / Chinese New Year / Hijri New Year” ad rolled into one. While we’re on the topic, we are not “SabahSarawak”, we are different states.

8. Lastly, if you’re a corporate reading this, I’d encourage you to work with local Sarawakian production houses to develop the Gawai story.

Don’t assume - ask, research, verify. Misrepresentation harms our people. And there is SO much misrepresentation out there.

俄羅斯圈圈要來了！
二〇一二年十月十日，就在這牆音樂藝文展演空間。

來自美國芝加哥的俄羅斯圈圈，團名取自於冰上曲棍球的練習動作。樂手編制跟vuLner一樣，可是威猛上非常多，這我們有在反省。他們從二〇〇四年來發行了四張正式專輯，但最令人印象深刻的還是充滿爆發力的現場演出。雖然只有三個人的編制，但吉他手Mike Sullivan現場精準的吉他riff looping、貝斯手Brian Cook陣仗驚人的效果器堆疊與聲響取樣，以及你絕對無法忽略的鼓手，Dave Turncrantz相當直覺衝勁十足卻又精準的打法，讓這三個人在現場演出時渀發出遠遠超過三人編制該有的聲響。另外，他們的團tee是我們穿過材質最舒服最透氣的團tee, 來看現場確定不買一件嗎？

剝惹很榮幸也很驚訝，能夠有機會為這樣級數的樂團開場，得知這消息時甚至興奮地難以入眠，當天我們會拼老命儘快把歌彈完不耽誤大家看俄羅斯圈圈的時間地（鞠躬）。

It's a great honor for us to being the opening band for the remarkable post-metal/rock band Russian Circles. Russian circles is a trio instrumental band based on melodic guitar and bass riff sentence and powerful grooving rhythm, formed in 2004 and favored by all the indie kids in the world with their intensive live performance. Nowadays they even headlined several music event.

It's the first time they hit Taiwan, and vuLner is freaking excited to be the opening band for the show. The agitation almost killed us. By the way, Russian Circles' logo Tee shirt is the best band tee we ever wore, remember to pick one when you come to the concert.

This video was filmed a while ago. I put off editing it and when I did, I felt like I already got closure from it and I decided in that moment not to upload it. Instead, I announced on Instagram and it felt right and I was able to finally take a breath of fresh air.

All I needed to put out there is our separation and I don't need to explain why.
This video isn't so much explaining but more so sharing my journey into gaining perspective and peace again.

Some time has passed since and since International Women’s Day just passed, I realised there was a lot of good points I mentioned that might be worth sharing and I felt a voice within telling me it's time.

The past 4 months has been humbling but I can say that I am the happiest I have been in the past 6 months. I truly believe every thing that’s meant to happen is falling in place and I’m embracing all these changes. In fact, many of you can already sense “old Bubz” coming back. I’ve been cherishing this new time to myself and doing more things for myself. I am no longer giving myself guilt because it doesn't make me become a better person or mother. I will just focus on doing what I can.

I know music can be powerful in altering emotions so i didn't want to put any in this video to stir any extra.

Tim and I are on good terms and just focused on co parenting Isaac and Ayla so they continue to be happy and healthy. I know a lot of you are saddened with our amicable split but please trust it is for the best. We will always be in each others lives and will care for one another as family.

Whatever the future holds, bring it. I receive it wholeheartedly with gratitude. You do this.
