Had such an amazing time with the most wonderful friends at Famous Treasure once again!😄 For those who follow me on Instagram Stories, you know I go there a lot. 😛
I’ve had 2 suckling pigs there, one stuffed with glutinous rice and one without. BOTH ARE EXCELLENT. If you are on a low carb/ keto/ Atkin‘s diet 😆, order the one without. The skin is so crispy and crunchy and the meat so tender that in #Emily爱美丽’s words, “这合理吗?!” 😂 The roasted suckling pig stuffed with glutinous rice though is something else. That rice, cooked with pork liver sausage, is flavourful and aromatic, and because because the slices are dainty and bite-sized, you never feel *jelat (I had 5 slices! 😛)!
And if you love seafood like I do, you MUST order the salt-baked crab (you won’t find that salty smoky flavour anywhere else I promise you), the sea cucumber with leeks & tobiko in claypot (this is not in the menu, don’t order the wrong sea cucumber 😆) and of course my all-time favourite cockles!! #ObeyTheHum 🤣
Best to pre-order all seafood dishes because they run out so fast! And of course suckling pigs have to be ordered at least a day in advance. I have more favourite dishes at Famous Treasure. I’ll tell you more the next time If I get enough likes for this post. 😆😄
