Dedicated to my secondborn. This sweet, doe-eyed girl is my rainbow baby who came at a turbulent period in my life after experiencing a loss in Sweden.

I remember it was one of the most nerve-racking moments when I went for her first ultrasound, hoping with every ounce of my being that I could see a flickering dot and hear her heartbeat. Thankfully, I did and it was truly one of the best feelings holding her in my arms the moment she was born. Three years later, she became a big sister and it warmed my heart seeing her gentle ways and loving heart.

This is the child who dispelt my worries and proved that middle child theories do not always hold true. She is boisterous, vivacious, animated, filled with joie de vivre and has a zest for life. She didn't kick up a fuss when she had to suffer six stitches after a fall, and didn't even whine when the nurses told her she had to go into the room on her own without me. She is the sporty one who loves to swim, dance, be out under the sun and just run around.

Unlike her siblings who sometimes say that they wished they were not the eldest or youngest, she is instead the one who never complains about her birth order and sees it as a blessing to have a big sister to look up to and a little brother to dote on.

Her joy was infectious when she first knew about baby #4 and she proudly declared "I'm going to be the best babysitter for Xiaodi." And I have no doubt she will be. After all, she is the sweet, sensitive daughter who helps me carry the groceries, holds my hand and tells me she can carry my backpack when we go out because she says Mama is pregnant and shouldn't carry heavy stuff.

2021 got off to a good start for her as she received her Character Award, got appointed to be a School Captain and has started on her leadership training sessions. Way to go, Ariel! Can't wait to see you shine even more on your stage in life and you can be sure that I will always be here cheering and rooting for you. Remember that you are special and will always hold a unique place in my heart, my dear.

In conjunction with #KLFW2019, I got inspired to share this photo of my lil fashionista! Fatimah was only 1.5 years old when this photo was taken on 16th August 2015. This was the first time she chose a full outfit for herself. Yes, from head to toe - including the backpack! And just look at her precious smile...that’s what I call CONFIDENT!!

This photo reminds me of a quote by Coco Chanel, “I don’t do fashion, I am fashion.”

This girl is so happy with her new school bag, in her favourite colour no less! Yup, here's presenting the model she chose and I must say I am loving how it looks too, especially the pretty hues of purple and pink.

One of the first steps in getting your child ready for primary school is to have a good school bag and I'm glad we have that settled for our secondborn. We have absolute faith in this IMPACT spinal protection backpack from @ergoworkssingapore as the elder sister chose a similar design when she entered Primary 1 and three years later, the bag is still in a good condition and functions well for her needs.

Hey guys!

Finally sharing my birthday vlog and what i got for my birthday from my friends and mom. Was deffo super spoiled and couldn't be more grateful not only for the gifts but for being able to spend my birthday here for the first time in 7 years! Hope you guys enjoy our Ninh Binh highlights, we had such a gorgeous and relaxing time.


Also, since i do get lots of questions about my rings in general, i forgot to mention in the video that my mom got both the necklace and ring custom made at a jewellers, so i can't give you a specific brand name.


Had to add some music to drown out the traffic sounds outside, it kinda helped a little?? …. deffo not filming in this spot again.

Ghostbusters is a 1984 American supernatural comedy film directed and produced by Ivan Reitman and written by Dan Aykroyd and Harold Ramis. The film stars Bill Murray, Aykroyd and Ramis as eccentric parapsychologists who start a ghost-catching business in New York City. Sigourney Weaver and Rick Moranis co-star as a client and her neighbor, and Ernie Hudson as the Ghostbusters' first recruit.

Aykroyd conceived the film as a project for himself and fellow Saturday Night Live alumnus John Belushi, with the "Ghostmashers" travelling through time and space in the future with magic wands. He and Ramis dramatically rewrote the script following Belushi's death and after Reitman deemed Aykroyd's initial vision financially impractical.

Ghostbusters was released in the United States on June 8, 1984. It received a positive response from critics and audiences and grossed $242 million in the United States and more than $295 million worldwide.
