Sharing more about our mum-and-kids island hopping trip on the blog today. Link in profile. So happy we did it! For those who are keen to visit the Southern islands, I have some tips to share too. Looking forward to more adventure, fun and exploration during the year end school holidays, which is in less than two weeks. Fwah!

P.S. ❤ how the 3yo was so sweet and patient to go around 拜拜 and 上香 with me in Da Bogong temple while his sisters had already rushed to play. He also didn't complain of fatigue even though we had no buggy, were out for 9 hours and had to scale steep slopes and stairs. Way to go, dear Asher!

幸福，近在眼前，用心感受，快乐其实就在我们身边。

The kids and I went out to scoot in the park, had lunch at a coffeeshop and went hunting for the hidden gems in our neighbourhood. That was when we found this amazing playground for the first time, much to the excitement of the kids. It looks so fun, right? Well, we definitely had a blast!

I think we are going to go exploring more often and check out more interesting places which we have never been before. I love these moments that are filled with happiness, laughter and family bliss and they are a reminder to me that life can actually be very simple. Or rather, I hope our lives can always be so simple.

My little fashion designers who put their own looks together while I was shopping.

Yup, shopping! Friends who know me will know that I very rarely shop or buy things for myself but in trying to pamper myself a little after a tiring solo parenting week and seeing how the sole to my sandal came off while I was walking halfway (!!), I decided to get something nice for myself that day. Yup, even if it means I had to lug the kids with me.

We entered this shop upon seeing a dress that was on sale ($9.99 only lor!) but when I wanted to try it on, I realised the queue to the fitting room was super long! Still, I decided to try and amazingly for nearly an hour, the kids busied themselves by pretending to be fashion designers and helping each other to decide what looked cool on each of them and showed me every look. Yup, they never complained about the wait and we also went shopping for new slippers after that, stayed in town till late and had desserts before going home.

Yup, I'm still trying to make them understand that it's a give and take relationship and they can love me back by respecting what I would like to do or watch a movie that I would like to watch, instead of me always following and doing what they love.

我不想一直一味的为孩子付出，更想做的是要他们学会体谅，懂得感恩。❤
