1984年首度舉行的MTV award, 在現場同步實況轉播中, Modonna以個人驚世駭俗的形象震撼了世界, 當時她原先在經紀人的安排下預訂演唱Lucky Star, 這首仍在排行榜上的曲子顯然會是那時尚未家喻戶曉的Modonna比較合適演出的曲目, 不然台下一片冷場就尷尬了, 結果她大姊穿了一襲新娘婚紗, 帶著Boy Toy的腰帶登台大唱歌詞淫穢的Like a Virgin(這是這位歌壇大姐大的第一首冠軍單曲, 中譯為宛如處女), Modonna穿者那襲白紗在舞台滾來滾去, 主持人Bette Midler那個當下只能尷尬擠出幾句話, 說Modonna是不是Like a Virgin應該不需要討論了
很多媒體都將這個選為流行音樂史上最距代表性的幾個Moment, 以現在的標準來看也依舊很搶鏡
Madonna “True Blue” 35週年，我在專輯發行第11年（1997）的時候購入。
我正式成為娜姐腦粉，是從1998年的 ”Ray of Light” 開始。事實上，我第一張購買的是 ”Something to Remember” 抒情精選，再來是 ”True Blue”，接著才是 ”Ray of Light”。也就是說，我並非第一時間就成為她的追隨者。
“True Blue” 首次帶給我80年代的瑪丹娜。不知道為什麼，我喜歡這張專輯裡的鼓、合成器樂聲甚於更火紅的 ”Like a Virgin“ 或 ”Prayer”，每一拍小鼓重擊（不是大鼓喔！）都讓人伴隨歌詞登上情緒最高點。
很多朋友鐵定覺得，這音樂年代根本史前生物！所以，我這篇文章的另一個重點是：成為誰誰誰的聽眾，永遠不嫌晚！你看我雖然已是23年老粉，其實還未達 ”True Blue” 專輯的35週年呢！

【一天分享一首歌之第24天】〈Vincent〉/ Don McLean
大年初四，祝我農曆生日快樂。今天來聽一首許多人熟悉的老歌，是唐恩麥克林45年前寫來緬懷畫家梵谷的〈Vincent〉——或在許多人記憶中，這首歌叫做〈Starry Starry Night〉。「Starry, starry night / Paint your palette blue and gray...」輕巧的吉他搭配清透的歌聲，是音樂最純直美麗的模樣。
據麥克林自己說，這首歌詞是他在一次空閒時讀完梵谷的傳記，靈感與衝動一來，即時寫完的。一句句其實精心地指涉了好多張梵谷的畫作，或畫中常見的元素如麥田、太陽花、或他的自畫像：「Portraits hung in empty halls / Frameless heads on nameless walls / With eyes that watch the world and can't forget」真是好孤單的臉龐。
但他真正想表達、想唱的是：「如今我終於明白，那些你試著告訴我的，那種種理性帶給你的痛，及你多麼想要透過藝術，帶給他們自由⋯⋯只可惜他們不懂。他們大概永遠不會懂。（Now, I think I know what you tried to say to me / And how you suffered for your sanity / And how you tried to set them free / They would not listen, they're not listening still / Perhaps they never will）」
藝術創作是孤獨的，是在私密的花園等待靈感降臨，靈感可能永遠不會來，也可能眷顧了你一陣子，又突然消失了。留下茫然無助的自己在原地，急著想回到過去，都快急哭了。然從梵谷暴烈的一生，那日益扭曲狂亂的視野中，唐恩麥克林讀到了他想掙脫，想留住雙眼看見的風景，想尋求自由的那種美麗。而他用歌聲表達這一切，表達他的疼惜和不捨，表達對那濃烈的星光閃爍的夜空的嚮往。那佈滿星星的夜呀，是多麼想被瞭解，多麼渴望被擁抱？

關於我們：
唱歌的是個老是搞不清楚現實跟作夢的游離分裂患者，生活得越認真，就越失去對夢的悸動，雖然是個怪人，但總算還沒放棄唱歌寫歌呼吸。
老是把對跟錯的混在一起，老是以為做不到然後做到了。
彈吉他的是一對異姓雙胞胎兄弟，比鄉土劇更奇異的相遇在23年後，生命的軌跡莫名的相近。

這首歌Underneath this sky是為了這次The Best Jobs比賽，寫給每一個參加的我們。而這個臨時組起來的樂團都是由這次的參賽者所組成的

只能說進入決賽的大家真的是才華驚人，如果真要用幾句話來描述整個參賽過程的心情，這首歌再適合不過了，每次聽每次感受都很深刻。
而我可能會為了寫這篇文章開始討厭這首歌...每次聽都會忍不住大哭一場。除了歌詞句句寫進心坎裡，已經熟悉的聲音夾帶著回憶全都一口氣湧入腦中，we are best crew, best friends:')
Cameron也是這次參加Best Jobs的參賽者之一，最後得到由Virgin Australia航空公司提供的第七份世界上最棒的工作，來自美國的他才24歲，才華洋溢的程度讓我每次聽他唱歌下巴都合不起來:D
