I remember when I was little, my dad taught all of my sisters and I (we didn't have a little brother yet) to earn what we want and to work hard for it, hence we weren't really spoilt with materialistic things. I remember asking him for an mp3 player and he would go, "Dapat top 3 dalam kelas dulu baru papa beli." And my sisters and I would know the only way to get stuff back then was to earn it. It was never handed to us. Of course I never got my mp3 player haha the closest I could get was number 5 in high school. But my point is, even though he can let us have it easy, he didn't. He is the best dad, the most loving, the most supportive, and I learnt so much from him. He sets such an incredible level of patience, perseverance and goodwill. I'm so very proud to call him my dad.

My mp3 player could've costed him few months of my piano lessons. But those piano lessons, those art classes, the first guitar that he bought that I eventually learnt to play, and the first digital camera that he bought for my 15th birthday which I used to film my first few YouTube videos - ALL amount to who I am now. No gifts could ever be on par. I get to pursue what I'm destined to become because of you, Pa. I love you so very much, happy dad's day. ❤️
