Drove up over an hour across the mountainous Crown Range Road to get to Wanaka and the first thing we did was go on the Rob Roy Glacier Trek.
Following a guide from Eco Wanaka Tours, the very experienced Chris Riley, we drove in to Mt Aspiring National Park and was greeted by the beautiful Lake Matukituki here. Too pretty.
