Am such a rough phone user that I have to replace my phone every 2 years + 🤣. My old phone is workable but my friend scared my battery might blow up if I keep using it 😜

You might think am crazy to buy online at this price. You're not alone coz I think I was in the spur of the moment. 😅

This time I opt for Xiaomi Mi 10T Pro after going through reviews, shops and sites, also going through pages on @shopee_my to find the perfect one. Not bad for a mid range phone.

I chose @redapple.my and placed my order on 14 July (yeah I don't know what I was thinking coz it was Raya Haji holiday the week after 😂 and mind you I was horrified when they use Ninjavan coz I estimated a week for that). Also I never buy anything above RM500 (trust issues) but I did with this one and paid less than RM2k for it. Was super stoked when it arrived on 22 July. Sorry it took me a week to create a post about it coz hot weather makes lazy like a sloth. #truestory

The difference between APR and APY

A lot of people here are staking their crypto, so I assume most of you have encountered these terms before, but a lot of people don't really understand the difference between the two. As such I thought I would explain the difference as simply as possible.

**APR = Annual Percentage Rate**

This is the amount you can approximately expect the initial amount of money to get in interest over one year. For example, if you staked $1000 worth of ETH and got an APR of 6%, you would expect to have about $1,060 by the end of the year:

$1000 x (1.06) = $1060

However, this is assuming that you only get one payment at the end of the year of $60 for a year's worth of interest, and we all know that by staking crypto, you get payments more often than that. Some get interest payments every week, or even every day. Now let's assume you receive interest payments daily. The amount of interest you get every day is the APR divided by 365, since there are 365 days in a year. So your daily interest rate is:

6%/365 days = 0.01643836% every day in interest

So after one day, you will have:

$1000 x (1 + 0.06/365) = $1,000.16438

Now, on the second day, it will give you the same 0.01643836% in daily interest, but it won't use the $1000 you put in initially, it will give you interest based on how much you currently have staked, which is now $1,000.16438 after one day. So after you get your interest payment on the second day, you will have:

$1,000.16438 x (1 + 0.06/365) = $1,000.32879

It will then use the number you have after two days to calculate the interest you will receive for the third day. Notice how every day, the amount of money you have is increasing, and as a result the amount of money you receive in interest increases every day. This is called *compound interest*, and that's where APY comes in.

**APY = Annual Percentage Yield**

This is the amount of interest you receive in a year taking into account compound interest. In other words, this is the how much interest you will receive taking into account you will be getting payments throughout the year. So if you have an APR like we said of 6%, and you receive interest payments daily, your APY is calculated as such:

APY = (1 + 0.06/365)^365 - 1 = 6.18313106779%

So in one year, you're actually getting 6.18313106779% in interest, not just the 6% that the APR said you were getting. So after one year you would have:

$1000 x (1.0618313106779) = $1,061.83

**To Sum Up**

Amount you will have after one year according to APR:

$1060

Amount you will have after one year according to APY:

$1,061.83

As you can see the numbers are not the same. APY just gives you a more accurate indicator as to how much you can expect to receive in interest by the end of the year.

**So which is better: 6% APR or 6% APY?**

If you noticed, the percentage I calculated in APY is higher than the percent APR said you would be getting:

6% APR = 6.18313106779% APY (with daily payments)

So, if you have the option to choose between 6% APR and 6% APY with the same frequency of payments in a year (in this case daily payments), always choose 6% APR, since that comes out to be higher than 6% APY.

Film out 是日本劇場版《Signal長期未解決事件搜查班》的主題曲，看到這劇名，固定在追韓劇的各位想必覺得眼熟，沒錯！這劇場版就是從超好看的韓劇《Signal信號시그널》改編的。
這一次日方推出劇場版，更邀請到防彈少年團接續演唱主題曲。

歌曲編排對很多聽習慣Kpop套路的人來說應該不太習慣，反而帶有J-pop的感覺。光是聽旋律的記憶點不多，也沒有中毒性，但可以感覺到是首傷感的歌，溫柔地說著在心裡不會消失的人的故事。

可能是珍惜當下概念已經被講爛了，只好用更新的包裝方式講故事，現在更多是用穿越的方式來呈現已經不復存在的眷戀、依依不捨和撫今追昔。我們甚至用自己想像中的時光機，想著那個人好像就站在對面，但是可望不可及，當想伸出手觸碰若隱若現的對方，他卻如同過眼煙雲消失不見了。

Film out is the ending theme song of the Signal the Movie Cold Case Investigation Unit, the Japanese TV series. Anyone familiar with the KR dramas may relate this one to the KR drama with the same name, which was super famous earlier and it is =]
This JP version was a remake of KR drama "Signal 시그널." The song was written by BTS member Jungkook in collaboration with the lead vocalist of Japanese rock power trio Back Number, Iyori Shimizu.

Cherishing the moment may sound like too old-school or what, now we have to package the story with new concept, like going back to the past with time machine. The one I miss sooo much seems to be standing opposite there, but he is out of reach. When I want to reach out and touch him hug hum, he just disappear away.

I still miss you soooo much. I want to be with you, it is as simple and as complicated as that.
Until then, I'd feel the sun and the wind as if you are holding me.
But now all I can do is have a dream with you where you are with me. It'll be like being there with you in the dream and losing you after waking up. After being repeated again and again every night and day and practicing like this, even there is no such time machine to travel back to the past, I would be good at the days without you after waking up in reality (oh but I would def choose to love you if there were a time machine taking me back to the past).

In case you're wondering how a Western food stall looks like in Singapore, just google it and there are plenty of images out there. Interestingly, the Western food we get at coffeeshops or foodcourts are usually marinated in Chinese style. :)) We grow up eating this type of Western food and we love it! My favourite order at a Western food stall is always chicken chop. Roland's favourite is mixed grill because he likes variety. What's yours?
