Hsin-Chien Huang's latest work, “Samsara Ep.1” will be shown at the Neuchâtel International Fantastic Film Festival (NIFFF) in Switzerland.

This year NIFFF has not only made “Taiwan” as its theme, but also added three different elements: Fantasy, Asia, and Digital. In cooperation with TACCA, a special section called “FORMA FANTASTICA” will debut with four categories: feature films, animated shorts, series, and immersive contents. Up to four seminars will be available during the festival. Come discover the diversity and awesomeness of Taiwan’s artists and their works!

Especially in the “Immersive Contents”, NIFFF has made the connection and interaction between audiences and museums stronger to bring out some of the boldest and the most forward-looking issues via showing immersive performances.

Huang’s “Samsara Ep.1” intertwines a variety of issues, such as ecology, technology, distribution of recourses, and warfare, leading audiences to reflect on existence, environment, and other philosophical concepts. It is believed that Taiwan’s VR and XR productions and the creativity for immersive content can attract more international filmmakers and fans with the promotion from NIFFF.

Upcoming Events: Huang will show up at an online presentation, held by NIFFF, to share his insights and experiences when creating “Samsara.” The event will take place at 5:15 p.m. on July 5!

NIFFF 設有奇幻、亞洲與數位三大單元，而2021年官方特以台灣作為主題國 🎉，並且與 文化內容策進院 Taiwan Creative Content Agency 攜手合作👯‍♂️ 以「奇幻福爾摩沙」（ FORMOSA FANTASTICA ）專題單元，「 #劇情長片 」、「 #動畫短片 」、「 #劇集 」與「 #沉浸式內容 」等四大類別，展期中還有四場座談活動，來共同嶄露台灣作品的多元與精彩！

▞ 臺灣的民主化成就，並非一蹴可幾 ▚
﹋﹋﹋﹋﹋﹋﹋﹋﹋﹋﹋﹋﹋﹋﹋﹋
許多國家從專制邁向民主的過程，都曾歷經流血衝突
在74年前的今天，臺灣也同樣經歷一場血腥鎮壓。
　
在二次大戰結束後，日本戰敗
原本在日本人統治之下的臺灣
被中華民國接收，島民們一下子從
戰敗者變成戰勝者。
　
中華民國政府接收臺灣後，卻讓
官員貪腐、通貨膨脹、經濟倒退、歧視打壓等問題
越演越烈。衝突在2/28爆發。
　
這場運動造成大量傷亡，
卻沒有辦法阻止極權統治停下腳步。
1949年，政府甚至展開了長達38年的戒嚴，
許多台灣人在戒嚴期間遭受
不明原因的白色恐怖，從此人間蒸發。
　
直到1987年解嚴，
並歷經各種針對體制的衝撞與抗爭，
臺灣才漸漸轉型成為大家看到的民主多元國家。

- the Price of Democracy -
The harmonious relationship between the government and the people has lasted, but Rome wasn’t built in one day; Taiwan’s democratic achievement did not come easy. The shift from autocracy to democracy came with bloody fights.

With Japan’s defeat after World War II, the Republic of China government began exercising jurisdiction over Taiwan and reinforced the oppression to secure authorities on the island. Taiwan was plagued with official corruption, inflation, economic recession, and descrimination. The rampant dissatisfaction among civilians escalated and finally ignited the riot of “February 28th” (228) in 1947.

This violence resulted in tens of thousands of deaths. However, the tragedies didn’t end there. In 1949, the government went on to enforce martial law lasting for 38 years during which many people were accused as political dissidents and disappeared by the “White Terror”.

It wasn’t until 1987 that the martial law was lifted. Taiwan underwent various clashes and upheavals to establish a regime, which eventually shaped the vibrant and thriving democracy we have today.

在民主化道路上所經歷的一場災難。

這是一首正面的歌，以輕快的節奏，傳遞「希望」。

「禪」是梵語「禪那」（ध्यान，dhyāna）的簡稱。原義是靜慮，意即至心一處、靜思觀修。禪可以說是一種基於「靜止」的行為模式。停止才能前進，留空才能增加。透過靜止的冥想，屏除雜念，人們才能鍛煉思維，進而發展智慧。

台灣陷阱饒舌霸主高浩哲K-HOW，繼2019年關注台灣當前青年世代困境的《日頭赤炎炎》專輯後，睽違一年再度推出個人第五張創作專輯《ZENWAVE》。經歷了多年的歌手生涯高低變化，高浩哲走過憤怒、悲傷、狂喜等多種情緒起伏。此次高浩哲選擇跨越外在世俗的直觀執念，以內在的「禪定」出發。不論人世間的爭奪喧噪，將自身的意念得以匯聚成流，高浩哲不再徬徨。生活也好、創作也好，順著自己的節奏即可持續前進。

《ZENWAVE》除了呈現高浩哲的心境轉變，同也體現其耕耘多年的音樂思維之躍升。除了足以代表其音樂風格的808 Trap，不論是80’s帶有Cyberpunk科幻風味的Synth Sound、國際潮流上逐漸嶄露頭角的Drill，甚至是嘗試搖滾、House等跨界曲風。他並不滿足只被定義為一線陷阱歌手。

製作團隊除了海底隊當家製作RAYLO、老夥伴電音唱作人Dusa，此張專輯更是邀來了曾編曲頑童MJ116〈幹大事〉、〈少年董〉等知名單曲，並固定與有著BRIDGE等大勢饒舌歌手的重慶嘻哈廠牌GO$H合作的台灣知名製作人ROLLMEAJOIENTYELLA參與編曲、製作。

從專輯的取樣成音、視覺設計，甚至是MV的造型美術，高浩哲皆大量挪用本土民俗文化，尤其是三太子。對他而言自己好比三太子般對抗權貴階級。為了台灣年輕世代奉獻生命，削肉還母、剔骨還父，最終對抗成功。世代間的衝突和對立，也一直是他關注的議題。

高浩哲用他一貫的暗黑風格，搭配上強而有力的專輯概念、企製團隊。無論成功與否，他早已在這條音樂的不歸路上留下屬於他的記號。

The concept of “Zen” originated from ancient Sanskrit（ध्यान，dhyāna）,which means quiet down one’s mind, putting one’s heart into a singular focus. “Zen” can be interpreted as a behavioral pattern based on “tranquility”. One can only move forward by slowing down and earn more by empting out. Through the meditation of tranquility, erasing all the noise inside, that we can strengthen our mind and develop higher intelligence.

Since the album《日頭赤炎炎》focus on the struggle of young generation released in 2019, here comes the fifth album《ZENWAVE》from Taiwanese trap king K-How. After many year’s ups and downs, K-How went through various different emotions, anger, sadness, ecstasy…etc. This time K-How chose to transcend worldly attachment, restart from a inner status of “Zen”, disregarding all the external hustle, leaving only pure mindfulness in his heart, K-How is no longer lost, no matter life or his creations, he goes with his own flow and keep moving forward.

What《ZENWAVE》presented is not only the mental changes of K-How, but also the development of his music aesthetic over the years, except his iconic sounds of trap 808s or synth sound with 80’s cyberpunk characteristic, he even try to combines elements of Rock, House Music into this album, showing that he’s not satisfied with only being a trap music artist.

The all-star production team are comprised of Helicrew’s main producer Raylo, the usual suspect – singer/electronic music producer Dusa Naga, he also invited the well-known Taiwanese hip-hop producer ROLLMEAJOIENTYELLA who’re known for countless award-winning hit songs that he produced for across mandarin hip hop scene, from artists like Taiwan’s hip hop superstar MJ116 to Chinese top hip hop artists like BRIDGE、MACOVERSEAS to participate in the beat-making process.
From album’s sound selection, visual artwork to the subtle details in his music video, K-How implement lots of local folklore culture including imagery of Nezha. who died fighting the upper class and finally succeeded in the confrontation, which K-How symbolized himself as Nezha, sacrificing his life for young generation in Taiwan, expressing the conflict in between different generations and traditional values thru his music.
K-HOW continues his dark style on top of strong album concept, production team, no matter if he succeeds or not, K-HOW’s already leaving marks on this never-returning path.

In 2020, the world seems like a cloud of gloom. Life is eroded by fear, and the distance between each person is getting farther. When we no longer have expectations the light of hope dims. What does BroadBand want to do about this?

We have always wanted to convey positive energy through music, and have wanted to add color to each other's lives. The human voice conveys sincerity and delicacy, and harmony shows the tension of music, which allows us to cheer and comfort one another.

"It would be great if I could sing with everyone!" The idea of ​​singing for the world was hopeful, but we wanted to awaken people's admiration for life again.
BroadBand with OPUS MUSIC ARTS and AL Studio join forces with singers to give them voices, speak out together for the things we cherish!


The theme song of the animated Digimon–Butter-Fly–is not unfamiliar to ears of the generation born in the 80s and 90s. This lively rock song of the Japanese anime features energetic, inspirational lyrics. The resonating chorus has also become food that feeds our soul.

We hope that through our performance, this positive energy will be spread to the throughout the world. Just like the animated "DigiDestined", we use music to create hope. This year coincides with the 4th anniversary of the death of Hara Sang Wada Mitsuji (2016/4/3), we hope to pay tribute to him by covering his work.
