擔心是一種幻象,但是數千萬人卻成為這幻象的階下囚
Worrying is a illusion, it exists only in your mind but millions are becoming a prisoners of this illusion.
在人類大腦演化的過程中,我們發展了記憶及幻想未來的能力,因為這想像力,我們學會推測,推演各種不同的可能性。
但此推測的能力有一副產品 "擔心憂慮" ,此副產品把你所有的注意力放在那負面的推測結果。但是這副產品與你真實的外在世界是毫無關連的,它只存在你的心智裏。擔心是一種錯用心智的自殘行為。
At some point of the human evolution, our brain develops this capacity to remember the past and fantasize the future. Hence we learned to predict, calculate all possible outcomes. However this capability comes with a by-product called “worrying”. Worrying is focusing your thoughts solely on the negative outcome. BUT worrying has nothing to do with your outside world. It only exists in your mind, it’s self-inflicting behavior due to the misuse of the mind.
但是你可憐的身體及生理運作,卻搞不消楚這到底是真的還是假的。身體對於這幻想的反應會作出與真實狀況一樣的反應。求生機能啟動,壓力荷爾蒙分泌,造成高血壓,胃潰瘍,失眠及癌症等。
However your body and physiology can’t differentiate the self-inflicting thoughts and react as it’s under the real situation. It kicks it the “fight or flight” response and stress hormone is released causing high blood pressure, ulcer, insomnia and even cancer.
