Two weeks ago, someone from steam called X-ray gifted me an arcana and unfriended me, weird guy lol. Anyways, I reckoned it was mine to own so I sold it to a friend and added that money to the small amount I've been earning from my sketches. That money along with few art tools and a contribution from my colleague had been sent up to Bhutan for someone special called Tenzin Wangchuk.
So guys, meet 'Tenzin Wangchuk' from Bhutan.
He is a 17yr old boy who loves to paint and is very talented indeed:) He has suffered 15 years of loneliness and has always dreamt of going to school ever since he was a kid. Supports had finally come in and after 17 yrs, he is now finally admitted in Draktsho Vocational Training Centre, a school for Special Children & Youth at Kanglung. He received the contribution I had sent up just the day before and I've been told, that will buy him school dress and bedding gears. There are 24 others like him in the institute and they're all incredible children.
To all the Bhutanese, we can’t always depend on our government and our kings for everything. How about we come forward and support them as a community, as a family. When we can spend thousands on gadgets and other temporary things, why not a very small part of that for the education of these kids and others similar like them. To those who've helped, thank you! Special thanks Mr. Jimmey Dorji who is a teacher, for taking the initiative to start this campaign in the first place. As well as to my colleague and X-ray lel.
After I heard how happy and thankful Tenzin was and saw the pictures, the feeling that followed was priceless.
How much we contribute or share doesn't matter, what matters is that we do:)
