ผกก.บาส และ หว่องกาไว ลุยเปิดกล้องหนังเรื่องใหม่ 'One For The Road' ทุ่มทุนสร้างถ่ายทำทั้งในเมืองไทย และบินไปถ่ายไกลถึงนิวยอร์ก !
'หว่องกาไว' โปรดิวเซอร์ชื่อดังระดับโลก คว้า 'ผกก. บาส นัฐวุฒิ พูนพิริยะ' เปิดกล้องถ่ายทำหนังใหม่ เรื่องราวของสองเพื่อนรักที่แยกจากกันเป็นเวลาหลายปี ได้ร่วมออกเดินทางด้วยกันอีกครั้ง หลังพบว่าเพื่อนคนหนึ่งเป็นมะเร็งระยะสุดท้าย แต่จริง ๆ แล้วยังมีอีกเหตุผลที่แอบแฝงอยู่เบื้องหลังการเดินทางในครั้งนี้
ซึ่งเรื่องนี้ได้ 3 ผู้กำกับรุ่นใหม่ไฟแรงมาร่วมเขียนบท ทั้ง บาส-นัฐวุฒิ (ผู้กำกับ ฉลาดเกมส์โกง), ไก่-ณฐพล (ผู้กำกับ 2,215 เชื่อ บ้า กล้า ก้าว) และ โรส-พวงสร้อย (ผู้กำกับ นคร-สวรรค์)
พร้อมนักแสดงอีกมากมาย ทั้ง ต่อ-ธนภพ, ไอซ์ซึ-ณัฐรัตน์, วี-วิโอเลต, พลอย หอวัง, นุ่น-ศิรพันธ์ และออกแบบ-ชุติมณฑน์
หว่องเล่าว่า “ผมดีใจมากที่ได้มีโอกาสร่วมงานกับคนมีพรสวรรค์อย่างบาส ซึ่งก่อนหน้านี้ทำภาพยนตร์ ฉลาดเกมส์โกง ได้อย่างมีเอกลักษณ์ และมีการเล่าเรื่องที่แข็งแรง”
ซึ่งทางฝั่งผกก.บาส ก็ดีใจเป็นอย่างมาก “ผมได้ร่วมงานกับหว่องมาปีกว่า เป็นโอกาสดีมากในฐานะผู้กำกับที่ได้ลองอะไรใหม่ ๆ ได้ลองออกนอก Comfort Zone”
