This dish represents humble beginnings . An egg, served hot at the bottom and cold on top. Please enjoy this dish by scooping up from top to base and experience the different temperatures and textures.
*Textures of Rice* 🫔
Here is a twist to the classic Chee Chong Fun. Instead of prawns, we serve this version with salmon belly that's cooked to perfection into two types of rice wrap: one layer which is deep fried and the the other, steamed.
*Malaysia, A Melting Pot of Flavours* 🥗
Kerabu, a slowly forgotten Malayan heritage, is a dish that has all the elements to represent Malaysia: it is punchy, tangy, sweet, sour, bitter, spicy, refreshing, herbaceous, all in one bowl. Just like how our nation is. We are a beautiful mix of cuisine, history and culture and this bowl of Kerabu is and amazing representation of that.
*Coconut & Venus Clam Soup* 🍲
This bowl of goodness was inspired by a local delicacy in Batang Kali, a small township at the outskirts of Selangor. There, this dish is cooked in the coconut fruit itself, where the flesh and juice would lend that special sweetness to the broth. In our version we've used plump Venus clams and unripe papaya for the added flavor twist.
*Claypot Curry Rice* 🍚
We present to you Kuching's Sunday staple: Curry Rice. Unlike any other versions you've had before, this Borneon version includes chicken charsiew, Hainanese steamed chicken, braised soy sauce and curry. The distinctive aroma that is similar to truffles comes from a native jungle nut called kulim. Please mix everything to enjoy!

Tối thứ 7 đang lướt fb thì C thấy quán nướng này quảng cáo CN khai trương, địa chỉ thì ở cái quán The Lob cũ 😶 Menu cũng có vẻ rẻ nên rủ bạn đi thử :>
4 đứa bọn mình gọi mấy loại thịt, má heo Iberico (145k), u gáy (85k), ba chỉ (85k), lòng bò (85k), dồi sụn Chú Bi (75k) vs Bắp bò nhúng ớt (145k). Ngoài ra thì mn muốn nhậu nên có gọi thêm Đậu phụ chiên sốt ớt (35k) Rau, nấm vs các loại đồ ăn kèm là đc cho thêm free thì phải 😚
Thịt ở đây đc ướp rất đậm đà, ko bị nổi ngọt (quá tuyệt vs C haha 🤣). Thịt nhìn hơi mỡ nhưng nướng lên lại rất ngon, vì phần mỡ ý cứu miếng thịt khỏi bị khô ấy. Gói lại vs xà lách, kimchi hay gỏi dưa chuột ăn siêu ngon mà ko hề ngấy 🤤 C cực ưng cái gỏi dưa chuột ăn kèm ý, bàn 4 đứa xin đến phải 6-7 chén mà các bạn pv vẫn nhiệt tình dễ sợ, còn bảo là thấy thích vì mn ăn ngon 😅 Cute dễ sợ, xin đến lần thứ 3 là đã sợ bị ng ta lườm nguýt r ý 🥰 Má heo nướng là món cực phẩm, dù miếng thịt nhìn khá bé so vs 145k :< Nhưng tiền nào của nấy thật, thơm, giòn mà ko dai, siêu mọng nước, ngọt thịt. Đáng thử lắm nha :>
Sốt chấm cũng rất đa dạng, có 3 loại sốt ớt xanh, ớt đỏ vs sa tế ngọt. Đậu phụ đem ra bị nguội ko còn giòn nữa nên ăn ko ấn tượng lắm 🤷 Bò nhúng ớt thì 2 đứa phải về sớm chưa kịp ăn nên chả biết vị ntn 😅

On Saturday, I was scrolling on Facebook when I saw this place's ads 😶 and so funny, the address was from one of the place we used to review before. Curious and the menu was pretty cheap so we decided to call our friends and give it a try 😗
We ordered a few kinds of meat : Iberico porl cheek (145k), pork neck (85k), pork belly (85k), Chu Bi's sausage (75k), beef shank with chilli dip. Beside that, other people wants to drink so we had Fried tofu with spicy sauce as a snack, the veggies and sides were on the house I think 😚
All of the meat were well-marinated, not too sweet (oh yeah! That's my thing!). The meat in general looked pretty fatty, but actually the fat was what kept them from getting dry on the grill :> Roll them with some lettuce, kimchi or pickles, and you won't feel the fattiness in your mouth at all, only heaven 🤤 We super liked that cucumber pickles, we asked for it around 6-7 times 🤦 So embarrassing, but the staffs didn't have any attitude with us at all. On the contrary, they were so happy because we liked the food 🥰 We thought after the 3rd times they started hating us already 😶 Btw, the pork cheek was amazing, tho it was kinda small for 145k price :< But so damn worth it, crunchy but not chewy, juicy and so sweet 😭 it's a must tryyy!
They had 3 kinds of sauces, green chilli, red chilli and sweet satay, really nice. The tofu was nothing special tho, it was cold when arrived to us 🤷 I had to go home early so I didn't know how was the beef shank with chilli dip taste 😅
