Dah sampai!!! Aku dapat special collab ONITSUKATIGER x DOI TUNG ! Doi Tung? Apa siot?!!

DOI TUNG (nama gunung di Chiang Rai Thailand) adalah satu project istimewa Yayasan Mae Fah Luang, sebuah NGO yang giat berusaha membantu golongan yang kurang berkemampuan dalam pada masa yang sama menjaga kelestarian alam sekitar namun mengetengahkan budaya kesenian lokal Thailand (besar gila movement dieorang ni). Gila babi idea dieorang ni. Patut aku pelik siapa2 lah Doi Tung Development. Macam nama perumahan pun ada.

Tapi ini adalah satu kolaborasi yang terbaik so far aku pernah tengok. Kebajikan, alam sekitar, seni, fashion dan Mae Fah Luang ni dah start dari 70an kerja2 kebajikan. Sesuatu yang aku suka dengar cerita usaha bantu orang susah. Al maklum la aku ni cepat selesa dan lalai dengan dunia. Aku perlu inspirasi dan idea untuk stay semangat dalam menjadi seorang manusia yang berbakti kepada Tuhan, alam dan manusia.

Seperti yang korang tengok kasut tu, material tersebut adalah HANDWOVEN guys!!! Sejenis textile buatan lolal tradisional yang memakan masa yang agak lama nak produce. Yang gilanya warna merah biru tu dieorang specially made untuk collab ni sebab merah biru adalah warna rasmi Onitsuka Tiger.

Model kasut macam biasa dieorang letak yang kebanggan dieorang Mexico 66, 66 paratay dan Serrano. Yang aku pakai ni Mexico 66. Aku kecewa, warna itam tu jual kat Thailand je. RakChai betul laaaa...

Miiso is a Kadazan word which means united or togetherness.
Once a year, the KadazanDusun people of Sabah celebrates Kaamatan Festival and together, 'miiso', they unite to honour this special day for the fruitful harvest of the paddy.

Materials featured in the video:
Siga: A headpiece of handwoven kain dastar worn by men.
Himpogot: Silver “dollar” belt worn by women.
Tangkong: Hip belt worn by women. It consists of 84 embossed brass rings on rattan strings.
Litai Vinusak: Rungus traditional necklace.
Gong: Sabah's musical instrument used in ceremonies by major ethnic groups such as Kadazan, Dusun, Rungus and Bajau.
Nyiru: A KadazanDusun's winnowing tray.
Barait: A traditional bag of KadazanDusun & Murut.

I landed in bustling Ho Chi Minh City for the first time in #Vietnam & had a great time exploring Ho Chi Minh City, District 1.

We decided we wanted to get a feel for local life in #Saigon and quickly realised that the traffic in Ho Chi Minh City is a BIG part of daily life so we decided to be a part of this transportation and travelled on them. #GrabBike was the most suitable mode of travel. I can’t put into words how busy the streets of Saigon are, so you’ll just have to watch the video to see for yourself!
