All I need is your undivided attention. For you to look me in the eye when I talk to you. For you to put away all distractions and just focus on me. For you to truly be here with me, not just be beside me. It won't be along before I grow up, Mama. And then, you can have all the time in the world to do the things you want.

Meet the boy who loves to feed himself at the age of one. Somehow, he refuses to let us feed him and would snatch the spoon and try to devour everything himself, which essentially means making a huge mess every single time. From noodles and rice to fruits and yoghurt, he just loves to explore all these foodstuff on his own and I must say his grasp of the cutlery is pretty good for this age. Oh well, something tells me to just close an eye and get on with the mopping, cleaning and baby bathing after every meal because one day, I'm so gonna miss all of this mess. P.S. I'm feeling more thankful than anything because him eating like that means I usually get a good ten minutes at least to have my own meal, which is a luxury for a stay-at-home mum, right? #ahappymum #lifeofasahm #joysofmotherhood #heartfelt #simplejoy #growingupwaytoofast
