Kyler loves to express. Singing , drawing and giving speeches all the time. Tonight , as usual, he drew a picture ( the cover page of his book) . He then started to say out his story plot. Then he breaks down the story into sentences , and ask for the exact number of paper for his pages of stories. He then seek our help to spell out the sentences. He completed the page with his illustration. Page by page, he completed his first ever novel. Of cos I gonna record this down. So I asked him to voice his own story. So proud of him, a 5 year-old author.

Di antara membaca, bercakap dan menulis, mana satu nak dimulakan dulu?
1. Bercakap.
Usia KRITIKAL : 0-2 tahun.
...Continue ReadingBetween Reading, talking and writing, which one to start first?
1. Talk.
Critical Age: 0-2 years old.
This is the most important element in the life of a human being. Talking is important for us to communicate about our thoughts and feelings so that the people around know what we want to say so that there will be no misunderstanding.
Start since your child just came out to see the world, which is within 24 hours after being born. Greet your child, give greetings... say 'hi', kiss.... hug, say whatever you want to say. Just chat. It looks like it's not right when sitting in the ward, we're talking alone while giving eye contact to the baby. But that's the first thing we have to do since our child was born. And konsistenlah talks to them until they grow up, nak2 in the first two years.
I often ask parents, ' child can talk or not? 'most answer' already, said... ABC, 123 all he knows. Even jawi letters. ' I said, that's not talking. Where is the same talk by knowing those letters!
Talking is communicating. There is an eye contact, got a child answering back to the question, react to the name from mom dad, calling, not mention it.
Once when my child was admitted in the hospital, there was a mother 'talking' to her child who was a year and 6 months in spelling. That's strong! ' B.U.K.U... Book! ' I guess he's the target of his child to be good at spelling while talking. The rest of the time, I see his son just given a gadget and 'learn' through gadgets. Rampage Toksah say it. As long as something is wrong, the child is just raging. Noisy one ward listen!
I'm crazy looking at it!
Spelling is not talking!
Reading is not talking!
Counting not talking!
Talk need to have eye contact.
Speaking must have a understanding between two parties.
Talk must have expression and expression.
Talking is communication, there are people who listen, there are people who reply back.
Speaking must have a impersonation, better to copy in terms of style or sound of rattles.
Giving gadgets and learning at this age?
If possible, avoid it!
2. Doodling & painting
Critical Age: 1-3 years old.
It's important for your child to learn to hold a pencil or a crayon or a big painting brush at the moment for a doodling session.
If you're worried that your child will doodle the wall, buy a big paper paper, paste it on the wall of the house. If there is more budget, wall the wall with paint is easy to delete. If it's so hard to do, just accept that the walls of the house have to be doodle.
Contenting helps the child express their mind.
Doodling helps children strengthen hand muscles.
Content there is a visual element of perceptual (this is another chapter).
Doodling creates midline crossing abilities.
Doodling helps the formation of a finger holding a pencil (Pencil Grip).
Don't care where to doodle. On Paper, on the floor, near the wall, books... we are grown up, please think of the best way to encourage children to be doodling. Follow everyone who wants to control your heart and feelings to see the house messy or what.... most importantly, think of the way!
May I make the element of the sand, the ground, the stone... for the wood twig... no complaints, as long as the child can be conteng.
During this age, don't force your child to write too much. It's fun to ask to write ABC, number, jawi letter...
Teach child painting after doodling.
Paint bentuk2 that is around us.
Animal Paint, plants, homes, or anything.
Accompany the child to draw.
Use water colour, crayon or any drawing tools.
It's not a waste to spend money buying these things. Not a loss!
3. Coloring.
Critical Age: 1-3 years old.
Teach the color at this age.
Coloring activity helps children form straight, vertical, oblique, rounded lines and so on.
The Color of the painting that is in let it fit the age of the child.
Don't be asked to coloring the complex painting. If possible, avoid coloring the painting inside the gadget.
Coloring in gadgets does not bring any meaning to hand muscle. How to develop a memory motor against the line?
At this age, you don't have to worry if the children are still not good at the color in the line. Still the color out the line is normal. No problem. The most important thing is, he knows where to color it.
Create a concept of coloring as early as possible. No need to wait until school is just about to coloring.
No need to bring to the mall, coloring at the that has of for in, then you have to pay. The color at home is better. It's better for us to draw a picture of our family, ask our children to be color. Simple. Saving a lot.
4. Writing and reading.
Critical age of writing: 4 years
Starting age knowing letters and numbers: 4 years
Beginning of reading age: 5 years and above.
Age that is considered late to be able to read: 11 years.
Logically, when the child has learned a lot of lines through doodling and coloring, it's self-prepare to write. This time it's easy to write letters and numbers even though they don't know the letters and numbers yet. No problem.
Can teach to write in a session, then teach to know the letter in the later session.... at the age of 4! This is the earliest age! Not too late yet.
No need to worry because once a child and learn letters, a few letters... start to read at the age of 5
If we follow all this process gradually, God willing, the child has no problem! No need to worry too much.
If we 'turn' all this process, there will be consequences because it has violated the development of a human being.
If you feel there is an effect, don't be shy to bring the therapist to fix the problems that are available.
So much.
.........
Picture for example only not encourage for children to doodle walls.
Parents please paste the big paper on the wall so that the children are free to play at the same time they can work comfortably

Above & Beyond’s first original collaboration single since 2010 (for those playing at home, that was ‘Anphonic’ with Kyau & Albert) sees the production powerhouse of Jono Grant, Tony McGuinness and Paavo Siljamäki link up with prolific San Franciscan, Spencer Brown.
‘Long Way From Home’ featuring the vocals of RBBTS (Anne Kalstrup & Hendrik Burkhard) is a gentle, melancholic wave of undulating melodies, underpinned by the quartet’s rounded, dancefloor-ready sound. Debuted at Above & Beyond’s Group Therapy 300 celebrations in Hong Kong, the song considers the experience of loneliness that besets many touring artists. Aptly, the first sketch of the track was laid down by Paavo and Spencer in a Melbourne hotel room - a very, very long way from home.
Says Paavo, “Both Spencer and myself know all too well what it's like being a touring musician.
Filled with totally amazing, high moments, but also lonely moments in hotel rooms far away from home. We'd both been travelling for hours feeling somewhat lost and lonely and ended up spending the day together talking about it all. Later that night, we found ourselves making a song about it all in a makeshift hotel room studio”
Spencer Brown has just finished a world tour with Above & Beyond, playing direct support to crowds across North America, Australasia and Europe. A star on the rise, Spencer is already a mainstay on Above & Beyond’s Anjunabeats imprint. The prolific 24 year old released his debut artist album, ‘Illusion Of Perfection’, on the label earlier this year.
Says Spencer, “ “Dream on little dreamer." A message that rung in my head after seeing Above & Beyond, as a fan, in 2014. After signing my music with Anjunabeats in 2016, our musical and personal relationship deepened. We’ve toured the world together. Now, we’ve penned this song - drawing deep from our hearts - about the crazy lives we lead.”
Road-tested and fine-tuned in front of sell-out crowds across Europe, ‘Long Way From Home’ feat. RBBTS is an early Christmas treat for Above & Beyond and Spencer Brown fans. Fans need not wait long for more. Both artists have packed schedules for the remainder of the year.
So, the wild ride continues. Thankfully, where there’s good friends and good music, you’re never that far from home.

Painfully
痛苦地
Lonely
孤寂
I followed my heart
我跟隨著內心
I am secretly
我正無人知曉地
Silently
無聲無息地
Falling apart
崩壞毀掉
I’m a long
我仍離家
Long way from home
離家遙遠
I’m a long
路途遙遠
Long way from hope
離希望遙遠
I’m a long way from hope
我喪失了一切希望
I’m a long way from hope

The Philadelphia 76ers played more like a playoff team than one mired in a miserable stretch of basketball.
Thaddeus Young had 26 points and 14 rebounds, Allen Iverson scored 20 points and the 76ers snapped a 12-game losing streak with a 117-101 victory over the Golden State Warriors on Monday night.
Iverson was a rookie the last time the Sixers lost 13 straight in the 1996-97 season. He played the best game of his four-game second stint in Philadelphia to help avoid another unlucky 13-game skid on his resume.
The Sixers had all five starters and two reserves score in double digits.
"We felt like once we did get a win, it was going to be extremely hard, one of the hardest games to win," Iverson said. "It was totally opposite."
Iverson hit the 20-point mark for the second straight game a day after his having his left knee drained of fluid. Young was sensational, using an 11-of-15 effort in the first half to give the Sixers a rare comfortable lead and easy win.
"It's been working for us, but we just couldn't get the win," Young said. "It really worked tonight."
Looking for a spark, 76ers coach Eddie Jordan benched power forward Elton Brand and paired rookie Jrue Holiday in the backcourt with Iverson. Jordan's move worked: Holiday had 15 points, seven rebounds and six assists.
"He just put us in a good rhythm tonight and had us flowing," Iverson said.
Brand, who was previously benched in some fourth quarters, said it was hard to complain about his role after a victory. He just can't believe he's considered a bench player early in the second year of an $80 million, five-year deal.
"When you look around at other teams, yeah," Brand said. "It's like, no disrespect, but [Golden State's] Mikki Moore gets the start and I don't. Not that he's not a good player, but, definitely."
Andre Iguodala left briefly with bruised ribs and scored 14 points on brutal 4-of-20 shooting. He's day-to-day and was not expected to practice Tuesday.
Corey Maggette led the Warriors with 24 points and Anthony Randolph had 15. Golden State lost its third straight in the finale of a five-game trip that started Dec. 7.
"You can't make excuses about a long trip," Maggette said.
Iverson's return generated a short burst of excitement, but not wins. His box office appeal is already lukewarm with only 12,795 fans listed to watch a slumping Sixers team.
Iverson joked at shootaround that after his ill-fated stint with Memphis, he sat home "trying to get fat." He wasn't in game shape and the Sixers came in with a bloated 18 losses.
He teamed with Young to make eight of 11 shots in the first quarter to help build a 12-point lead. Young really got rolling in the second quarter. He kept close to the basket and used a flurry of layups to score 14 points. He did hit a nice turnaround jumper that stretched the lead to 15.
Iverson capped the half by drawing a midair foul with 1 second left, hitting two free throws to make it 71-57.
Philadelphia won for only the third time in 19 games and its 12-game losing streak was the longest since 2006. Iverson was around for the start of that one three years ago before he was traded and the end of this one after his return.
Iverson acknowledges the years of banging down the lane and crashing the court have taken a severe toll on his 34-year-old frame. He's limited at shootarounds and practices -- by coaches decision, not complaint -- and no longer has the quickest first step in the league.
"I've been dealing with that the last 5, 6 years I've been playing," Iverson said. "I understand that when I fall or hit something that it flares up or gets irritated a lot faster than it used to. That comes from getting older."
By the time the fourth quarter rolled around, Iverson could rest. Willie Green's 3-pointer with 9:10 left in the fourth gave the Sixers 102 points, meaning free food at a fast-food restaurant for the few fans who bought tickets.

For one game, fellow guards Larry Hughes and Eric Snow stole the spotlight from Allen Iverson.
Hughes hit a tying 3-pointer with seven-tenths of a second left in regulation and Snow sank a 16-footer at the overtime buzzer, giving the Philadelphia 76ers a 122-121 victory over the Detroit Pistons.
In the final two minutes of the fourth quarter, the Pistons did an effective job of cutting off the high-scoring Iverson and appeared to have closed the game with a 7-0 burst until Hughes forced overtime with just his sixth 3-pointer of the season.
Detroit scored the first five points of overtime and still held a 119-114 lead with 1:42 left after consecutive baskets by Jerome Williams. Iverson and Snow made jumpers and the 76ers converted a turnover by Grant Hill into a breakaway layup by Iverson for a 120-119 lead with 16 seconds to go.
Hill atoned for his giveaway by drawing a foul on a drive and making both free throws for a one-point lead with 8.4 seconds left. The Sixers elected not to call timeout and inbounded to the speedy Iverson, who dribbled up the right side of the court and passed to Aaron McKie. McKie swung a pass to the left side to Snow, who faked a defender and buried the open shot as the buzzer sounded.
"It was a great decision because they didn't get to set up and we didn't have to worry about setting up in the half-court," Iverson said. "It was get it and go and it worked for us."
"It was all about taking advantage of the opportunity," Snow said. "I knew they were gonna double-team Allen; I told him so. So I just got the ball, took a good shot and fortunately it went in."
Philadelphia coach Larry Brown did not think Snow would end up with the game in his hands.
"I didn't know he would be the guy but the kid made three jumpers in overtime and played defense like crazy with five fouls on him.," Brown said. "If you ask me if I thought it was going to end like this, I would have said, `No way.' It's a great end to a long day."
Iverson and the rest of the Sixers threw a hug around Snow, a stark contrast to Saturday's 104-91 loss in Detroit. In that game, Brown benched his starters with 8:15 left in the third quarter and Iverson reacted by asking for a trade.
With 76ers president Pat Croce mediating, Brown and Iverson met today and ironed out their differences.
"I felt like I was a 10-year-old kid being punished on Christmas morning with no toys," Iverson said before the game, backing off his trade talk. "I know I reacted badly. If it happens again I won't run my mouth."
"He felt by not playing him I was disrespecting him," Brown said after today's practice. "I felt bad about it because that was not my intention."
After the game, Brown and Iverson appeared to be on the same page.
"There are gonna be days with him that are gonna be rough and some that are gonna be easy. It's like dealing with family," Brown said. "There are things that were said that needed to be said and probably need to be said again."
"After I left the room this morning, I had a good feeling about me, coach and the team," Brown said. "It was the realest conversation I had with coach. I know he's not gonna do anything to hurt this team. Coach and me are gonna do this together. We're all soldiers. It's as simple as that."
Iverson scored 32 points on 12-of-29 shooting. Hughes scored 20 points off the bench. Snow scored six of his 10 points in the extra session and added a season-high 12 assists. Iverson had seven assists and Snow and Hughes made three steals apiece.
"We've got a good group of guys here," Snow said. "Nothing bothers this team much."
Hill scored 32 points on 13-of-22 shooting for the Pistons, who had seven players in double figures.
"We had it covered. We had all the people we wanted to cover and got the ball out of Iverson's hands," Pistons coach Alvin Gentry said. "(Snow) was the guy we wanted to make the shot and to his credit, he did."
With Hill taking control, the Pistons led throughout most of the first three quarters and took an 86-82 advantage into the fourth period. The Sixers opened the quarter with an 11-4 run to take the lead and the Pistons tied it at 101-101 with 3:16 remaining on a 3-pointer by Lindsey Hunter, who scored 10 points.
Iverson answered with a pair of 3-pointers around a basket by Christian Laettner to give Philadelphia a 107-103 lead with 2:19 to go. But Hunter blanketed Iverson down the stretch and his two free throws gave Detroit a 110-107 lead with 5.1 seconds to play, setting up Hughes' heroics.
"They hit two buzzer-beaters, at regulation and at overtime," Hill said. "We're up by three with five seconds to play and we didn't close it out. We have to go back and regroup."
