Throwback v3
Debating is not just about winning trophies & cash prizes,
it's a lifestyle.
Critical thinking, Public Speaking, Discipline, reading habit etc
Debating taught me to be a global citizen.
Debating taught me that our lives are intertwined with one another.
When we speak passionately about justice, reforms & politics in debate-land, it should not stop there.
When given the chance, we should carry that idealism & passion in the real world.
This photo was taken at the airport immediately after i got back from the UK, after serving as the Co-Chief Judge of the Cambridge IV.
I was banned from attending my graduation/convocation from law school due to Politics as i was a co-founder of BERSATU, a political party threathening the ruling government then.
While i was in the UK, my parents called me in a panic mode, as Police officers rushed to our family home at 2-3am, looking for me.
The Inspector General of the Police then, on Live TV, said that i will be investigated under the sedition act for my writings.
This photo will always be in my memory as i couldn't attend my graduation, so my parents hosted a mini-graduation ceremony at the airport.
I also was able to convince the Police that i'll give full cooperation & there was no need to take me in, in front of my parents.
I will never forget the positive values i learned from debating.
Justice, equity, tolerance, hardwork, perseverence and many more.
When we are faced with threats or lucrative offers to woe us away from our struggle, we must remain steadfast in defending our principles.
This is our Malaysia,
Forever,
together.
I'll be hosting 5 #Thunderbold classes on Public Speaking, Debating, Critical Thinking & more, sharing my years of experience.
5 classes for only RM200. It is opened to all! 100% proceeds will go to purchasing quality Laptops/Tabs for underprivileged students in Muar.
See you in class.

瘟疫的慢性處方 Interminable Prescriptions for the Plague | MOCA Taipei
2019.10.05 SAT – 2019.12.01 SUN 10:00 - 18:00 (Closed on Monday)
In the 21st century, contemporary public health education campaigns follow the democratic model. The latex condom has become a cover-up for self-protection against patriarchy and autocracy to fulfill freedom and ideals. We live in “the society of suspicion” where healthiness is somehow perceived as the proof of morality, while disease as the proof of corruption. No matter how many studies and those in power publicly state that “a disease is just a disease and does not belong to any group,” the related metaphor and stigma never end. To maintain life, suppress the virus and prevent infection, people infected with HIV (human immunodeficiency virus) take their prescription continuously under a doctor’s advice and social expectations. This also implies that they must coexist with the stain of a virus that the world still regards as a kind of moral failure. As the medical historian Roy Porter once announced: “The days of sex without responsibility were over.” Infected or not, since each citizen treats themselves as one serological monad, it seems that everyone comes up with their own “prescription” in coexistence with this perceptible plague.
The exhibition is presented by the Museum of Contemporary Art Taipei and Taiwan HivStory Association. It is curated by Kairon Liu, the artist-curator of Humans of Hosts. He cooperates with Several HIV initiatives and teams, and invites artists and researchers at home and abroad to explore and disclose the issue. Taking the MOCA Cube, plaza, TV wall and activity hall as the experimental fields, the exhibition attempts to step across the disease with art and establish a two-way communication platform with the participants. The exhibition closing will be held on World AIDS Day (1st of December), ending in dialogue, tribute and celebration.

I'm Shizuka, the hot spring model. I usually work as a caregiver at a nursing home.I use my days off to visit my favorite mixed baths. It's a self-produced tour that doesn't generate income. I pay for all my hot spring visits and have been to 250 mixed hot springs across the country!
I've toured mixed baths around the country, and I have been making videos and blogs(Ameblo) of my experience and impressions of the hot springs.
I am always on the search for what suits me best. There is no good bath or bad bath, what suits you may change depending on you in that situation, and that's what I call a good bath (hot spring).

Taking a bath is a natural routine after "sleeping" and "eating" in Japanese people's minds. It's a routine task. In particular, soaking in a hot tub is a unique part of Japanese culture.
And that's why we have onsen in Japan.
Whether you like it or not, everyone goes on a trip to a hot spring resort at least once in their lives.
Onsen are a unique part of Japanese culture.
Some people are attracted by the smell of sulfur and others
taking a bath together with a large group of people and literally having "naked company" can make you feel like you've grown closer to your friends.
When you soak naked in a hot spring and let out a breath of air, you can talk about things you wouldn't normally talk about.
It takes the edge off! and is a stress relief!
Bathing in nature while bathing with negative ions in the air is more effective based on scientific evidence.
And a "hot water cure" used for medical treatment is another thing even though there is no medical evidence to support this, but the effects of hot springs on the human body are wonderful. There are diseases that cannot be cured by doctors, but if you are in a hot spring...
I am a hot spring YouTuber.
I love hot springs.
Why?
Because it is a place where I could take a relaxing bath with my favorite family.
It was a strange coincidence to take a bath in a mixed bathing hot spring.
Of course you feel the gaze of the opposite sex, and you may also feel the embarrassment.
I'm not saying that I don't want to be seen, but after all, hot springs are an important part of Japanese culture, and I think it's important to keep in mind the importance of good manners when taking a bath.
Taking a bath naked is something that Japanese people have been trained to do since they were children.
More and more mixed bathing hot springs are prohibiting bathing without clothing.
It is no longer possible to open a new mixed bathing facility in today's Japan. Therefore, I would like you all to protect and support the existing bathing facilities.I would be very happy if my videos gives reasons for this.
I hope that this will be one of the reasons why a girl who just loves hot springs will be able to experience the Japanese culture of hot springs.
