If you’re looking for a dessert to feed brownie lovers, we may well have the right recipe today.

There are 2 parts to this, first we mixed Instant Captain Oats with other ingredients to create a crunchy base, followed by using a brownie mix with chopped green apples and hazelnuts for more depth in the flavours. It’s fast and simple, and pretty fuss free!

We used a bamboo skewer to do an easy test of readiness, once it comes out clean, it’s good to go – prepare to serve and enjoy the festive treat with your loved ones.

This yummy oats cheesecake bar was a big hit in the house with both the adults and kids! I am loving how oats can be cooked in so many ways and you can easily modify a recipe to suit your own preferred taste. Wholesome, nutritious, easy to prepare, fun to experiment, and nice to eat – breakfast can’t get any better than this.
