祝親愛的媽咪六十歲大壽生日快樂～ 🎂

其實我媽的生日是一月，但是到時候見不到她所以提早慶生😆 而且我從沒吃過被譽為「世紀主廚」侯布雄的餐廳😸 趁這個機會來吃台北一星⭐

這位名廚曾經擁有的餐廳加起來共三十五顆星呢！

本來就愛吃法式料理的媽媽，吃得非常開心😁 尤其景色優美，配上好吃的食物，只能說這午餐套餐確實值得😋

其實我自己比較喜歡態芮，但是爸媽覺得他們的甜點不夠多🤔 候布雄的甜點就真的很多！

除了幫媽媽加點了生日蛋糕，套餐也有點心一大份，之後配咖啡又有甜點🍨 真的是好多！不過還好甜點品質都不錯，不讓人覺得噁心😆

唯一的小可惜應該是一罐水的價位是蛋糕一倍的價位，對愛喝水的我來說開銷有點大😅

不過這種餐廳本來就是這個樣子，整體來說以在台北的套餐價位是還不錯的～

Happy 60th Birthday mom!!! 🎂

An early birthday celebration as I won't see her in Jan😛 However it's more like an excuse for me to try Joel Robuchon's restaurant for the first time😂

Joel Robuchon was named "Chef of the Century" and has a total of 32 Michelin stars among his restaurants⭐ With Taipei being one star😆

Nice food and good view, I think mom was pleased with her lunch😋

However a bottle of water was 2x pricer than the birthday cake that I ordered for her😱 No wonder mom said the water was extra tasty 😛

台灣的美食在全世界必定是數一數二，讓我們一家人都熱中於在台灣找美食。要我選出最喜歡的台灣美食真的很難，但是有一樣食物征服了我們一家大小的胃，那就是小籠包。我爸媽來台灣看我們的時候，或者我們為誰慶生的時候，我家的兩個女兒一定會說要吃小籠包。連我家最年輕的成員，也就是我兒子，才剛滿周歲，也都愛吃小籠包。當他開始吃副食品，他最先吃到的食物之一，是我家附近的市場賣的豆腐，到現在他還是吃不膩。我的兩個女兒有她們自己最愛的週六特別午餐，她們喜歡吃隔壁早餐店賣的蛋餅。當我媽媽從美國來訪，她很快就知道怎麼走去附近的珍奶店；我爸爸去接孫子放學時，都會繞到附近的麵包店，買一種特別的巧克力捲當點心。我和我先生則喜歡那些隱身山林的餐廳、漁港的海產店、壽司、烤肉、川菜餐廳的魚香茄子、或雲南料理店的美味炒菇，太多地方，說也說不完。大多數的人搭纜車到貓空，在山上健行之後，會找一家茶館坐下來沏茶品茗，但我自己的私房地點則是一家座落於山邊的小咖啡館，從那裡可以將台北盡收眼底。我們甚至也嚐過了臭豆腐……還有什麼是我們住在台北時一定要試的美食呢？---蘇阿麗 #FacesofAIT

Taiwan must have some of the best food in the world - my entire family has enjoyed exploring Taiwan's many delicious dishes. I have a hard time picking what I like best...but the clear winner for everyone in my family, young and old, are soup dumplings (xiaolongbao). When my parents come to visit, or we are celebrating a birthday, our daughters always request xiaolongbao. Even the youngest member of our family (my son, who just turned one, loves to eat soup dumplings). One of his first foods (and still a favorite) was tofu from the local fresh market near our home. My daughters have a favorite Saturday lunch - “Chinese pancake” (danbing) from a small shop just steps from our door. When my mom comes to visit she quickly finds her way to a bubble tea stall. My father walks with the kids after school to a bakery for a special chocolate roll for a snack. My husband and I have enjoyed restaurants hidden in the mountains, small seafood stalls along the coast, sushi and BBQ, Sichuan-style restaurants with spicy eggplant, Yunnan-style restaurants with delicious fried mushrooms, and so many more wonderful places. After a gondola ride to maokong and walking in the mountains many people will stop for tea, my favorite stop, however, is a small coffee shop perched right on the edge of the mountain with beautiful views of Taipei. We've even tried stinky tofu...what else should we be sure to sample while we are living in Taipei? -- Alys
