Side note,
Most who have journeyed with me
through the years know about
my ongoing struggle with
people/crowds as an introvert.
-
Over the last 2 decades
I’ve been fortunate
to have the opportunity of hosting
some of the biggest most prestigious events,
& work with some of the best teams in the industry.
-
I don’t have the gift of the gab,
& I’m the least talented emcee,
with the memory of a goldfish.
But what I lack in talent,
I make up with days of
research, preparation & practise
before an event.
-
Just like most introverts,
I get anxiety attacks, constipated,
nauseous & can’t sleep for days
right up till the time I step on stage.
-
20yrs in the industry & I’m still
not over my fear of crowds.
But I’ve learnt to
get comfortable with being uncomfortable.
-
Point is, if someone like me can do it,
you can too.
-
What we lack in talent can always be
made up with giving 110 percent all the time.

Always remember this:::
When you become overcommitted,
that’s when the magic happens.
