💓The stage play debuts at Symphony Theatre on 26 September, stars Jessie Chung, Marcus Choot, Lily Lim, Paul Lee, John Lee and Jessica Chung, and is directed by Director Jeffrey Beh and Assistant Director Terry Lim. Jeffrey Beh, Terry Lim, Paul Lee and John Lee all majored in performing arts and music.

💞After co-starring in “Moonlight” and “Music Box”, what kind of chemistry will Jessie Chung and Marcus Choot create this time? What’s more, American heartthrob brothers John and Paul Lee will also join forces in this stage play. 💦 “Tearless Sky”, a touching stage play based on a classic romance novel, stars well-known artist Jessie Chung. Symphony Theatre artists John Lee and Terry Lim also star in the play alongside many experienced actors.

💌Lead actor Terry Lim portrayed Jia Baoyu in the stage play “The Dream of Red Mansions” after coming first in a global audition. His portrayal of Jia Baoyu has been praised by the audience, and he is known for his superb acting skills. John Lee is an American musician and actor. He is an award-winning musician and has written two songs for the stage play “The Dream of Red Mansions”, garnering favourable reviews. Two songs written by him will also appear in the stage play “Tearless Sky”. Both actors are performing arts and music majors.

💝Jeffrey Beh, director of “Tearless Sky”, has starred in movies, dramas, short films and music videos. Paul Lee, the assistant director, is a dual citizen who grew up between the U.S. and Taiwan. He is also a character actor and learned the craft of cinematography and directing under a few renowned instructors in the U.S. Director Jeffrey Beh and Assistant Director Paul Lee both majored in performing arts and music, and have directed many dramas, short films and commercials.

For this upcoming play, he produced and performed the soundtrack song “Be With Me” and performed two versions of “Eternally” in both Mandarin and English with his mesmeric vocals. Male lead Terry Lim, in a daring and romantic manner, provides the love song “Happy Girl” with his marvellous voice.

但我們必經是華人，刻在墓碑上的，終究是華文名。華文的源起在歷史中已隱藏著玄秘的力量，因此一個好的中文名有著巨大的力量來加持一個孩子八字的不足，不是英文名字能比得上的。

有的父母取名憑當時的感覺，有的父母有家譜的傳統。前者可能感情用事，後者就一定比較有智慧嗎？

In Singapore, almost every parent will give the child a Christian name. Some parents say that it is easier to call the child with an English name, while some regard this as keeping up with the times.

But we are Chinese after all. What is engraved on our tombs will still be our Chinese names. Due to its historic mystical origins, the Chinese language is much more powerful in empowering the child with auspicious energies for the inadequacies in his/her Bazi. A name from its English counterpart just doesn't measure up.

Some parents name their child based on their emotions at that time. And there are parents who are obliged to follow the Family Tree Book. While the former is sentimental/emotional, is the latter necessarily a wiser move?
