We can mourn the days gone by or we can focus on the good right now.
And based on what you’ve shared with me in my previous post, I love that we have greater appreciation for the small things in life now, because the small things are really the big things.
Here are some of the things I’m grateful for today:
✨ I’m grateful that I’m alive and healthy, I’m grateful for our cozy home, I’m grateful for my sweet husband and my dear daughters and son, Lauren, Georgia and Will who are healthy, happy and bickering all day long 😆
✨I’m grateful for all the healthcare workers working hard and putting their lives at risk.
✨I’m grateful for all the grocery stores and restaurants that are open and provide us with healthy and nutritious food.
✨I’m grateful for the essential workers who work round the clock and the delivery people who pick up and send food and packages to my home.
✨I’m grateful for electricity - another privilege you only appreciate when it gets taken away. I was telling Lauren the other day how we had regular blackouts while I was growing up in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. And oh, I’m grateful for water- clean water running out of my tap, whenever I want.💧
✨I’m grateful for the internet - it has connected us all from all parts of the world. While we are practicing physical distancing at the moment, we are socially connected more than ever before. It has connected me to you.
✨Yes you. You reading this on the other side of the screen - I’m grateful for you. Yes you - you are smiling now.😊
