One of my proudest moments as a content creator in Boracay Island, Philippines is being able to do what I am passionate about- and that is creating something meaningful. Today, WaterColors Beach Café Bar raises the LGBTQ flag to let everyone travelling to Boracay that people like us, are supported, celebrated, and safe at this hotel and restaurant.

Why is a rainbow flag so important to be seen at an establishment for people like me, or probably people like us?

It does not necessarily mean, it's owned by someone or a group of people from the community. It was explained to me in Amsterdam that it's a symbol of inclusivity and support to the community. I was told that, it is a symbol that everyone in the community, straight or not, are welcomed, and most especially, people like us are celebrated, supported and safe.

To me, it is not just a symbol of the LGBTQ community. It is a symbol that we are SAFE when people like us go to any establishments with the rainbow flag being hung.

It’s a simple thing to some, but it has an enormous impact to most.

因怕天氣不似預期，我們的荷蘭之旅預留了多一天；而天公作美，天氣很好，我們利用餘下的一天到Hague 及Utrecht 一日遊。我們去年已去過荷蘭及比利時不同的城市，所以對於中世紀的建築及美麗的河道是具有相當的免疫力，我們的重點其實是Utrecht內的Seafood Bar 餐廳。去年暑假一嚐過後，我們便對這家餐廳的美味海鮮念念不忘。如果不想太趕，我們推薦只去Utrecht，休閒的渡過一天。另外，如果喜歡Miffy的話，便不要錯過Miffy博物館啊！

We arranged to stay at Netherlands for one more day as a safeguard for unpredictable weather. It turned out that the weather was good and, hence, we took a day tour to Hague and Utrecht. Since we have been to Netherland and Belgium last year, we didn’t have high hope for those canals and Middle Ages building. Our highlight was to go to Seafood Bar restaurant at Utrecht. We had tried once at Amsterdam last year and were so determined to visit again since then. Personally, we think that Utrecht can conclude a relaxing day. And, if you love Miffy, you shouldn’t miss the musem as well.
