I've put my heart and soul into this art/media/conservation & awareness project and with the outcry over the shooting of #cecilthelion it seems like the time is better than ever to raise the awareness levels on the war on wildlife taking place Africa and Asia.
Next week we launch 'Adventures to the Edge', my second eco/adventure show, that charts my journey through 8 countries over 5 years to photograph endangered wildlife for our upcoming @projectcchange exhibition November.
It will be aired on TVB Pearl starting Aug 5th, Wednesday night at 9pm. Created and produced by my hard working team at #activismedia and @projectcchange
Our main goal with this show is to spread awareness so please tune in to this series and pls share and help spread the word. It's time for change. Thank you #tvshow @tvbpearl #adventurestotheedge #adventure #africa #safari #travelshow #conservation #endangeredwildlife #projectcchange #seanleedavies #saynotoivory #1every15
Episode breakdown:
Episode 1 documents our @projectcchange climb up Kilimanjaro with celebrities and friends @jocelynlukosandstrom, @anthonysandstrom @rosemary_vdb 3 @janicechia9 @sirjackas
Episodes 2 and 3 focus on the lethal ivory trade that is killing more than 35,000 elephants a year in Africa. We also see how baby elephant orphans are being reintroduced into the wild @dswt .
Episode 4 traces my journey to photograph the last of a species at the Northern white rhino at @olpejeta. This year has seen record rhino poaching in Africa and a rhino gets killed on average every 6 hours.
Episode 5: we cover a unique lion initiative at #biglifefoundation as well as the human wildlife conflict issue which sees lions being cornered into ever smaller areas and facing retaliation whenever they hunt livestock. Trophy hunting is also on the rise, and yes in most places it's still legal.
Episode 6: I travel to the Maldives and Philippines to dive with sharks. 100 million sharks are being killed every year and mostly for the Sharks fin trade, for which Hong Kong is one of the biggest trading hubs.
