諷刺的是，在中共國家主席習近平主席領導下，中共近來更具侵略性，也因此，近年台灣的議題更加受到國際重視，更多在國際新聞上被討論，也在各國的國會受到討論、辯論。
我也感謝波蘭通訊社在此報導中加入了台灣的觀點。以北京為中心的敘事，在全球媒體中獲得不成比例的關注，只有雙方的聲音得到公平的關注，才有可能呈現出兩岸關係的全貌。
我們必須努力發聲。

I am quoted in Aleksandra Bielakowska's report for Polska Agencja Prasowa (Polish Press Agency)on the Taiwanese response to Xi Jinping's speech on the centennial of the Communist Party of #China. Thank you, dear Ola, for reaching out!
#Taiwan is not a problem; Taiwan is a place full of diverse people from diverse walks of lives. And the world is starting to see this! Ironically, we perhaps ought to thank Xi Jinping for this. His increasingly aggressive stance towards our archipelago democracy is putting Taiwan back on the map, back in the headlines, and back on the agenda of legislative debates. The strategy of petty intimidation only yields negative externalities for #Beijing.
I also wish to commend the Polish Press Agency for including the Taiwanese perspective in their reporting on Chinese affairs, and #CCP's attitude towards our nation. Beijing-centric narratives continue to gain disproportionate attention (and appreciation) in media outlets around the globe. Nevertheless, it is only possible to present a full picture of--admittedly tumultuous--cross-Strait relations if voices of both sides gain equitable attention.

It’s strange that I’ve never actually pondered this question…
After spending most of my adult life in Mainland China, marrying a Chinese doctor and now having a half Chinese daughter I finally find myself facing this very real and scary question, is the country I dedicated so much of my life to, explored so fully, intimately learned the language and culture of… Is this country and more specifically the government of the country my enemy?
