《The winning sales huddle: 10 ways to amp up your team》

You get your entire team together in real-time, bring everyone on the same page and get them fired up to tackle the tasks ahead of them.
in real-time 即時
on the same page指一群人的動作思維一致
1.Set a goal for the day or until the next huddle
2. Celebrate wins
Find fun ways to create incentives for reps that hit their goal, whether it's cold hard cash or simply recognition in the company.

3.Discuss key metrics
4.LinkedIn post of the day
5.Ask your team what they want to be part of the agenda. Not only will it give them a sense of ownership, but oftentimes you'll find that they come up with the best ideas.
6. Icebreakers

That's it!
或許這就是最大的問題: the lack of leadership on the team.
No winner's DNA.
This is gonna be a LONG SUMMER for the Sixers.

Allen Iverson and the rest of the 76ers are used to the boos that followed nearly every New Jersey basket in the fourth quarter.
What they haven't heard too much of was an earful from their easygoing coach, Maurice Cheeks.
Vince Carter scored 31 points and had 10 assists to lead the streaking Nets to a 101-90 win over the sliding 76ers on Wednesday night.
The Atlantic Division standings show the Nets with a four-game lead over the second-place Sixers. The gap, though, seems considerably wider considering New Jersey has won 12 of 15 while Philadelphia has lost seven of 10.
"We knew it was important for us to keep them behind us," said Cliff Robinson, who had 15 points for the Nets.
Cheeks finally had enough of watching his team ignore basic defensive principles and fail to sustain a full effort, and did all the talking during a roughly 30-minute postgame team meeting. Cheeks was typically mellow when he finally met the media, saying the Sixers were a "work in progress" that would eventually become the type of team that can make some noise in the East.
"It's us trying to stay together, which we will, and to keep working to figuring out how to win games," Cheeks said. "There are a lot of things we've got to work on."
Iverson led the Sixers with 36 points and Chris Webber had 15.
"The most I got out of it was that guys need to take a challenge to make this team better," Iverson said. "He talked about during this bad time that we're going through right now that it was important for everybody to stick together."
Iverson came up limping late in the fourth quarter when he appeared to knock knees with Jason Collins on a driving layup. Iverson hobbled around the court, rubbed his right leg, but remained in the game. Cheeks said Iverson was fine.
Much like how the Sixers collapsed in their embarrassing 104-76 loss to Washington on Monday, they again put up little fight in the fourth quarter.
The Nets got a pair of jumpers from Robinson and a 3 from Richard Jefferson during a 10-0 spurt that opened the fourth and gave them an 86-69 lead.
The home crowd started booing and heading for the exits. After making only two baskets in the first three quarters, Webber hit a 3-pointer and a 16-footer on consecutive possessions that helped pull the Sixers within eight.
Carter pushed back the Sixers with a couple of jumpers and the Nets cruised from there. Jefferson had 20 points and 16 rebounds, and Nenad Krstic had 16.
"That was a good win against a divisional rival on the road," Nets coach Lawrence Frank said.
Iverson had attempted only 12 shots and scored eight points in the first two quarters before he finally got going after the Nets used a 10-0 run to take a 60-46 lead in the third.
Iverson scored 11 straight points and had 19 of Philadelphia's 27 points in the third to cut the deficit to 77-69. Iverson complained after Monday's loss that he wasn't sure about his role on the team and what he could do to help the Sixers win.
Cheeks shrugged off Iverson's complaint and said before the game he had no reason to speak with his star point guard about his place on the team.
Iverson joked that Cheeks always needed during his seven seasons as a Sixers assistant to be prodded by former coach Larry Brown to speak up in the huddle or after practice. That quiet assistant has morphed into much more vocal coach. Iverson described Cheeks as "angry, and he had every right to be."
"I've been seeing a different side basically all year long," Iverson said. "His demeanor is totally different from being an assistant coach and the Maurice Cheeks that I got to know throughout the years of him being here. I expect it because he has a different role now."
Cheeks shuffled the starting lineup, hoping for some sort of combination that would instill a much needed defensive toughness. He benched 3-point threat Kyle Korver in favor of the more defensively adept John Salmons, but nothing changed. The Nets scored 30 points and shot 52 percent in the first quarter.
Michael Bradley did grab a season-high 10 rebounds in 17 minutes -- more than double his usual playing time.
"It's always easy when you get beat to beat ourselves up," Cheeks said. "We're going to keep trying, keep working." ^Notes:@ Korver had started the first 37 games and checked in for the first time with 3:22 left in the first quarter. He also had a bobblehead of his likeness given to fans and signed autographs after the game for fans who donated winter coats as part of his annual goodwill drive. ... The Nets led by as many as 17 points and made eight straight baskets in the first quarter.

LeBron James and Dwyane Wade walked off the court at halftime, smiling toward each other after an epic performance worthy of superstars.
At game's end, only James left happy.
James hit two free throws after a scary tumble and blow to the head with 4.1 seconds left for the winning points, and Wade missed a jumper over the reigning MVP's outstretched arm at the buzzer as the Eastern Conference-leading Cleveland Cavaliers beat the Miami Heat 92-91 on Monday night.
"It came down to one possession," said James, who matched Wade with a game-high 32 points. "Whoever got the last stop was going to win the game. Luckily it was us."
Wade had 30 at halftime, then only two the rest of the way -- and missed two big free throws with 41.2 seconds left, part of a 1 of 6 showing from the line by the Heat in the fourth quarter.
It cost Miami dearly.
"We put ourselves in the right position," Wade said. "Just mistakes tonight that I made that I normally don't ... cost us."
As great as the back-and-forth between Wade and James was at times, the last half-minute might be all anyone remembers from this one.
Guarding his good friend for the first time all night, Wade blocked James' shot with about 28 seconds left, giving Miami the ball and a one-point lead. But on the ensuing possession, James -- defending Wade this time -- came up with a steal when the league's defending scoring champion tried a wraparound pass, drove in from halfcourt and created what became a frightening scene for both teams.
James and Wade went toward the hoop together, with Quentin Richardson defending as well. Both James and Wade landed awkwardly, and James writhed in pain for about 2 minutes as the entire Cavs' bench came out to check on their fallen leader. He got up, walked Richardson's foul off and made two free throws with 4.1 seconds left for a 92-91 lead.
"For him to get up after that collision and knock down two free throws the way that he did, he's got ice water in his veins, baby," Cleveland coach Mike Brown said. "Ice water."
And in the ensuing huddle, Brown wanted to call a double-team on Wade. The coach was overruled.
"I got D-Wade," James said.
Wade's shot bounced off the iron, and it was over.
"The good, the bad, you're up, you're down," Heat coach Erik Spoelstra said. "I'll take it all with this team."
Shaquille O'Neal scored 19, Daniel Gibson had 15 and Anderson Varejao finished with 13 points and 10 rebounds for Cleveland.
Wade had 10 rebounds and five assists for Miami. Jermaine O'Neal finished with 18 points, Michael Beasley had 16 and Rafer Alston and Udonis Haslem each scored 10 for the Heat.
Jermaine O'Neal had 14 in the first quarter, Wade had 13 in the period, and Miami was off and running with a 34-24 lead after the first 12 minutes.
That was only the warmup act.
The second quarter was pure theater, Wade vs. LeBron.

Reggie Miller wasn't thinking about a tie. He was going for a win all the way.
In his latest heroic postseason moment, Miller nailed a 3-pointer with 2.9 seconds left to lift the Indiana Pacers to a 79-78 comeback victory over the Philadelphia 76ers in Game 1 of their first-round playoff series Saturday.
Miller, who had missed 16 of his first 20 shots, came around a screen and took a pass from Jalen Rose before launching a 3-pointer from 25 feet that rattled in.
"On the road I always go for 3," said Miller, whose career highlights include several clutch 3-pointers at the end of games -- especially in the playoffs.
"I knew it was coming. You knew it was coming. The crowd knew it was coming."
The Sixers had a final chance, but Allen Iverson lost his dribble with Miller closely guarding him and couldn't get a shot off as time expired.
"We got to a point where we felt we had these guys beat," Iverson said. "We got tight. To get a big lead like that and lose it at home is ridiculous."
Indiana, the defending Eastern Conference champions and prohibitive underdogs against Philadelphia, lead the best-of-five series 1-0. Game 2 is Tuesday night at the First Union Center.
Miller had 17 points and Jermaine O'Neal added 12 points and a career-high 20 rebounds for Indiana, which rallied from an 18-point second-half deficit. Travis Best had 16 points and 10 assists.
"We let the world know, we let them know, we can beat them on their own court," O'Neal said.
Iverson, who won his second scoring title in three years by averaging 31.1 points per game, had just 16 points. Aaron McKie added 18 and Dikembe Mutombo had 12 points and 22 rebounds.
Philadelphia, the top team in the East, is seeking to avenge two straight playoff defeats to Indiana.
"We gave them too many shots and I don't think we went inside enough," Mutombo said. "We had a lot of opportunities, but we didn't take advantage of them. Their big men were in foul trouble and we didn't take advantage of that either. I'm not happy at all at the way we lost this game."
The Pacers took their first lead, 73-72, since the opening minutes on a jumper by Best midway through the fourth. After Iverson answered with a jumper, Miller hit a 3-pointer to give the Pacers a 76-74 lead with 3:21 left.
Mutombo tied it at 76 on a pair of free throws with two minutes left. After Rose missed a jumper, Snow scored on a driving layup to make it 78-76.
Indiana missed four shots, including three 3-pointers, on its ensuing possession, but McKie missed an off-balance driving layup and O'Neal got the rebound with 11.7 seconds left.
Miller then drilled his third 3-pointer of the game to notch the upset.
"The situation called for big-time players to step up," Rose said. "I've seen him hit that shot numerous times."
Said Miller, "Shooters shoot. I understood I was having an off day."
Iverson shot just 7-of-19 and wasn't too thrilled about going to the bench after committing his fourth foul with 7:40 left in the third. He stared at Sixers coach Larry Brown and didn't join a team huddle during an ensuing timeout.
Iverson returned less than three minutes later, made a driving layup and hit a short jumper to give the Sixers a 65-54 lead late in the third after Indiana had cut its deficit to single digits for the first time since the first quarter.
"We got real tentative and they made big plays," Brown said. "We didn't make many shots in the second half and we made some critical mistakes. We took a shot too soon and we have to be a lot smarter."
Philadelphia used a 12-2 run -- none of the points from Iverson -- to open its first double-digit lead of the game, 18-8, with 2:39 left in the first.
Indiana missed its first eight shots before Rose hit a short jumper 3:20 into the game.
Miller made just one of his first 10 shots and was 2-for-12 in the first half. The Pacers were 15-for-51 in the first half.
"With a guy like that, you never worry about what he's done early," Pacers coach Isiah Thomas said.
Neither Iverson nor Miller scored until Miller made a driving layup with 2:05 left in the first. Iverson then scored on a driving finger roll with 1:38 left. He had as many assists -- four -- as shots in the first.
Notes: Miller shot just 3-for-14 in his last game in Philadelphia on April 1. ... O'Neal got a technical foul for taunting after a slam dunk early in the second quarter. ... Iverson hit a layup with 1:38 left in the first and the clock didn't restart until Austin Croshere made a layup on the ensuing possession.
