We all saw the impressive F-15SG fighter jets do bomb burst salutes during NDP on 9 August and 21 August.

The roar of F-15s overhead at this time of year can only mean that The Republic of Singapore Air Force is hard at work rehearsing for the National Day Parade.
As we are in Phase 2 (Heightened Alert) till 18 August, on 9 August we will hold a ceremonial parade to commemorate our independence. The NDP Show will be postponed till 21 August. By then the Heightened Alert should be over, and it should be a better time to hold the Show.
It has been a tough period for all of us. We cannot prevent storms from happening, but the F-15s’ tight formation reminds us to stay together as we navigate our way forward. We will get through this as one united people. – LHL

Truly enjoyed my conversation with Sir George Yeo.
He has served as the Minister of Information & Arts, Health, Trade & Industry & Foreign Affairs.
Before he joined Politics, he served as a Brig-General for the Singapore Air Force.
Through my conversations with him, i can conclude that he is a walking encyclopedia for Malaysia-Singapore history. I have a lot to learn.
He also gifted me a book on the history of the "Syeds" & his personal experience travelling to Hadhramaut.
Looking forward to reading it.
Malaysia & Singapore share a common strength which is our unity in diversity.
Moderation & Multiracialism must drive us forward. It shouldn't just be tolerated but Celebrated.
