UTeM has officially gone CASHLESS and I was there for their launch on Friday morning.

This effort supports the Government’s wish to reduce the people dependency on cash transactions by 2020.

The campaign was a collaboration between UTeM, PayNet Msia Sdn Bhd and Bank Islam in promoting a Cashless lifestyle in the campus.

To motivate students to go Cashless, UTeM is running a contest where various prizes worth RM50,000 including motorcycles, laptops and smartphones are up for grabs. This campaign ends in Feb next year.
