MOFA Minister Joseph Wu granted an audience to a team of #TaiwanHeroes from Taipei Medical University Hospital recently, to thank them for their work in fighting the #COVID19 pandemic in #Eswatini.
The hospital provided assistance for a delegation to travel for a month back in January to the #BeautifulKingdom to provide assistance in the treatment of patients, the management of front-line medical workers and in training medical staff in best practices.
Minister Wu lauded the delegation, stating that he was deeply moved by their willingness to give up the traditional Lunar New Year vacation and risk their lives to help others in need, calling them true heroes of Taiwan.
Taiwan will continue to work closely with Eswatini on #PandemicPrevention and to promote the welfare of the country’s people, particularly at a time when they are facing a second wave of infections.
