Do you wanna make sustainable food choices that can make a difference to the farmers, to us and the planet?

Cashews farmers in Vietnam are often exploited by unscrupulous middlemen that don’t pay fair market rates for crops. Farmers can also be paid late, which forces them to take loans in order to survive.
In Gia Lai province in Vietnam, @WeAreReFoods established co-operatives with local cashew farmers. Now, the farmers can rely on being paid fairly and on time. This has enabled them to break free of the cycle of debt, become more prosperous, and provide their children with a brighter future.

In Vietnam, @WeAreReFoods connected more than 3,000 cashew farmers for training in organic farming and improved farming techniques. The training has helped the farmers' soil become healthier and more productive. It has also allowed some of the farmers to become organic and Fairtrade certified, enabling them to earn higher prices for their crops.

Cashew with skin is always my favourite snack from Vietnam, the skin is crunchy and the cashew so creamy.. It’s highly addictive though that i could finish it in just 3 days!

I read an article awhile back that reported about the devastating effects the bee population faced due to the surge in popularity of almond milk. It was really shocking, and I had no clue. And that made me realise that our food choices can impact the world!
