Q7. Dramatic Trunk 也可成是妳作為女演員的一種self-portrait，畫的、浮現的，就像不少藝術家的自畫像一樣，都是表達當下的所思所感。哪些不同面相中，能否找到真我？
演員的職責是，能極有技巧地說謊，是謊言的巧匠。我自己都不知哪一個是真我，不知道有幾多成是自己，或是在某段時間內的自己。即使是夫妻間這般密切的關係，可能在他面前也是另一個人。但能幻想，是最好的，沒有一個工作，能給予我不停說謊的機會。

Q7: Your design of the ‘Dramatic Trunk’ - can it be seen, in a way, as your self-portrait as an actress, be the images painted by hand, or just something that emerges in your mind?
Just like what many contemporary artists would do, they portray themselves to express what they’re feeling and thinking. Do you believe your true self can come through with those images? The job of an actor is to lie very skillfully. Actors are like the crafters of lies. Even l myself don't know who the real me is, or even if l do, to what extent any portrait can represent that real me. Perhaps it can be me of a certain period in my life. Even in a relationship as intimate as that of marriage, the wife, for instance, may only reveal one side of her. But anyway, it is always good to be able to fantasize. There is no other job on earth which keeps giving you the legitimate grounds to lie.
