年初二，今年原本就沒打算回台灣娘家，目前的疫情也不允許冒險，倒是想著等兒子們都成家離家，每個年初二就是我回娘家的時候了，不要覺得孩子還小，日子還長，其實很快。
那些和爸媽到溪頭木屋渡假、到外婆家和表親們玩耍、年假結束前趕著完成寒假作業的日子都像不久前的事，卻已經過了幾十年了⋯

2nd da of CNY is called “daughter’s day” that daughters who are married able to be back to visit their own parents back to old time tradition.
I was in Taiwan with my own parents at where I grew up last year after CNY, and so happened to meet lock down of Malaysia when I should be back to Malaysia, end up I stayed with my parents half a year in 2020.
And this year, I don’t think it’s safe to travel yet, I miss my parents indeed, we see each other thru facetime, it’s ok, safety and health first.
Time flies really, time flies, how I miss my childhood that CNY vacation with mom and dad and brother, cousins gathering at granny’s house, last minute rush to finish school holiday homework before back to school, those good old days are already few decades from now.
Keep the memories in mind and move on, life goes on❤️
